To me, the main problem is lack of accountability. Governments in Nigeria just draft policies without inputs from the people. Governments only takes inputs in making its policies from the World Bank and the IMF. The policies of the Tinubu administration are anti-people. Governments should develop it's from the inputs of ordinary people, not from the World Bank and the IMF.

The main problem is that while things were not right, the President went spending like a drunken sailor building the VP mansion, buying a yacht, buying airplanes, buying luxury cars for the legislature, buying cars overseas with scarce forex, not buying made in Nigeria and a lot of rubbish decisions.

Obi and LP foolishly withdrew their election case against Fubura of PDP so Wike did not stole the votes again. What will LP and Obi do if Wike and Fubura settle their fight 🤔 😤 😐. Thank you Mr. Okusanya for educating Rufai on what leadership is all about. How can he conclude that everyone else that commented on the protest is automatically the president. Comments made by Asari are personal not binding the president. Also citing how much money spent on cars and renovating the vice president home are not issues on the table now. Reports had it that the vehicle that were purchased for the national assembly was arranged by the previous administration. They cars were budgeted for prior to Tinubu becoming the president. It is the responsibility of journalist to report accurate facts to the audience. It is a fact that Tinubu Administration should have predicted this protest not because of the fuel subsidy removal statement but the attached he received from all angle in Nigeria when he declared that it was his turn to be president as translated in his language. Right from the very day he was declare winner of the elections and through out the vigorous tribal leading to the Supreme court declaration many Nigeria refused to accept him as the president, they declare his administration illigimate and there would like to see him removed from office. Yes, the president is aware that this protest is not just what they protesters claim to be the reasons for the protest because no presidential candidate in the history of the country has gone through what he went through as a candidate and receive the type of treatment and rejection he is faced with just 14 months into the presidency. The demands made in this protest which are from diverse group were not officially presented to the government but merely though the social media and Nigerians expect the government to act on demands made by faceless individuals. Nigeria witness the dialogue that went on between the organized labor and government since last year that finally resulted to the minimum wage that was signed into law last this week. Can the organizers of the protest show such engagement with the government? This the question that the Nigeria media should be asking the organizers when they have them on their program and not just side the general public because you want to be praised. The media has responsibility to report accurately facts about the government.

What is needed in this instance is not PR but Communication for Social Change. It involves stakeholder mapping and stakeholder analysis with focus on subject matter experts, e.g. on peace and conflict and specific social problems like hunger and livelihoods. These are not issues of PR and image laundering.

I believe President Tinubu should have addressed the nation a day before the protest began. However, it's also reasonable for the president to wait a few days before speaking publicly, allowing the protest to unfold while minimizing potential political exploitation.
I opposed the protest due to concerns about thugs and hooligans hijacking the movement, leading to looting and violence. While I acknowledge Nigerians' right to protest, I condemn the destruction of properties and looting. The media, particularly broadcast media, share some blame for sensationalizing the protests.
Despite this, I recognize that Nigerians have legitimate grievances and the right to peaceful protest. The government is responsible for securing lives and properties, and the constitution empowers them to take necessary measures to maintain order.
As protests continue, I urge security services to maintain zero tolerance for violence while protecting peaceful protesters' rights. Security agencies must be vigilant and address violent elements decisively, safeguarding public and private properties. May God bless and guide us all, and may God bless Nigeria.

He claimed to remove subsidy on the first day in office, therefore fuel price went up. One year later, they claim to still be paying subsidy. So why is fuel so expensive ❓❓why are we buying fuel that high if they're still paying subsidy ❓..... The corruption is worse‼️
Who is exporting Nigeria's crude... ... Who owns the company❓
Who owns the refineries in Malta❓........ and who is controlling NNPC❓...... Let us all think........ The economic crisis is DELIBERATE‼️ IT FAVOURS THEM ‼️‼️

PBAT exemplifies the most important quality of a leader: communication. Communication is the key to driving any organisation, government, or other entity to prosperity, even in the family, husband-wife relationship, and so on. A leader does not rush to the podium in the midst of chaos; instead, he plans his strategy and delivers an effective communication that will turn things around.
I really enjoyed the conversation, and Mr Yomi Badejo-Okusanya provided thoughtful responses to all of the anchors' queries.

People's voice is the voice of God and Mr President is accountable to the people, so you don't wait till things go bad before the president addresses the people.
