Delhi get 1.8 rupees from the government for 1 rupee it gives to the government while Karnatak gets only 0.25 rupee for 1 rupee it gives to the government. How is this fair? Is this fair?
If the state of TamilNadu gives 1 rupee to Central Govt, it gives back 0.2 rupees,
If the state of Karnataka gives 1 rupee to Central Govt, it gives back 0.25 rupees,
If the state of UP gives 0.5 rupees to Central govt, it gives back 1.2 rupees.

Agricultural states gives less revenue than metropolitan states. Revenue depends on the product the state is producing. So if we give share based on revenue, than obviously the agricultural states will get less share and that affects our food quality to accommodate food across country.
Also, we need other states also to be developed else everyone comes to developed cities like bangalore, hyderabad, mumbai, etc which makes it is over populated, heavy traffic, bad water, air quality affecting our healths (throat affection, fevers), increase in housing cost and currently we are facing these situations.

The Harsh Truth that everyone knows is that South was never given any importance in this present Government. No matter what Honorable PM/Union Ministers says with lots of Anger that they are trying to break the Nation etc etc...But they never speak about the Development the South deserves... South leaders are unfortunately not very diplomatic in their dealings with central government. As we can see in Kerala, Kerala CM thinks he runs the country. Attitude is very important when these politicians are in leadership level. They must be diplomatic, need to meet central ministers or PM periodically, maintain good relations with them. None of these south politicians are doing anything except complaining about central government all the time regardless of what they offer to the state. Kerala government should improve their financial management. Current finance minister kind of ruined the state through unplanned spending and poor governance.

The centre is fair to southern states, all the ports were shifted to southern states which allowed industries from north to establish in south. These industries also benifit from employees all over india. It is the duty of the industrious states to help agricultural states. Gujarat and Maharashtra do not cry for unfairness.

2. IAS / IPS training centres are everywhere, not just north. Only the one in rajasthan are famous so its not anyones fault.
3. So what if ports are bound to be south, does that not make you privilaged? Having air bases north doesnt mean that the north is earning money. Having air / army bases is a cost to government, not profit. And if that's your point? What about naval bases?

Industrial sector contribution for southern states is just 15% except Tamilnadu which has 38% in our state GDP. major contribution is from IT sector which no central government helped us. South India. Always struggled and grown to this present status . We need equal budgets and development in all 28 states
Palki is a talented journalist, but right from the beginning, she is very keen on not to hurt BJP. I used to watch all her videos for almost the last 6 years and have never seen a video of her lashing central government for any inefficiencies or anything. Another major problem is Southern representation in politics is going down decade after decade as the representation is calculated on population and not on parameters like performance, contribution to economy.

Sorry to hear this. I am from Ethiopia. I studied my M.Tech at IITR, Uttarakhand -Northern India and visited Kerala-South India, couple of times. I saw there are different lifestyle and obviously religion wise. I respect the what South Indians' want to do but we are in the era of globalization, unity has no alternative. As an Indian from the Southern part, I had heard this opinion from one or two other southern Indians, especially Tamil Nadu belonging. They feel like South Indian territories were forcefully merged into India by the British and Gandhi. I never understood why they had such opinions or wished for a separate nation.

Bro, Maharashtra and Gujarat together receive 10% of what they pay in direct taxes. They are not asking for a separate country for the west. Haryana receives just 18% as well and they are also not asking for a separate country. These numbers are much less compared to Kerala (63%), TN (29%), AP (46%), TG (49%). Karnataka is a special case which gets a very low 13%. Only Southern states are asking for a separate country even though they receive more than the western states. Hypothetically if South India country is made, it will also break up into more countries because there is a lot of division among southern states as well. Kaveri issue will be like an international issue and who knows maybe wars can be fought over it as well.
I agree with you that there is disproportionate allocation of the funds and this problem should be rectified. But it's not just a South states' problem and it can be solved without breaking the country and if you are asking for breaking the country we will not stand with you and definitely fight with you if required.
