Sir Ray is a down to earth individual. As a nurse, I met him after his child was born in our hospital. No body guards, no media. He was very approachable and engaging. Glad to see he's still doing well.

To think that he wrote a song, out of his comfort zone, got record placement, AND movie placement that has gone through FOUR iterations & spanned FORTY YEARS (1983 TO CURRENT) is Mind Blowing. Then you add all the other stuff... Heck my niece LOVES Mr. telephone man and she was born 30 years after it was written!

Whenever you can get insight from someone whose been doing it as long as SIR Ray Parker... You need to take that advice & run with it. To think that he wrote a song, out of his comfort zone, got record placement, AND movie placement that has gone through FOUR iterations & spanned FORTY YEARS (1983 TO CURRENT) is Mind Blowing. Then you add all the other stuff... Heck my niece LOVES Mr. telephone man and she was born 30 years after it was written!

As good as this interview was and It was the best one...there is so much that was left on the table...I would have loved for them to delve into his prime with Raydio and the Solo hits and where he was when he was "That dude" in R&B...cause Ray had a run where he was killing the radio...
