And I'm here for all of it!!!
Exactly!! So true.😂 I love when they're completely locked in w/ a guest like this.
I'm glad Eric Roberson received his flowers today. He is a great artist. My favorites by him are "The Moon", "Lessons", and "She". Another great show guys!
@free2roam350 - Lessons was my first dance wedding song 😊
@@yediydeyah78 Good choice...I think "You" would be another good one.
I enjoy Lyrics of Pleasure the most.
“The Moon” Yessss ❤️
Agreed. I have about 10 Eric Roberson songs that I Love.
As a former 8 instrument musician and a lover of all shades of orchestra, this interview and Robert Glasper have been the most fulfilling reminders that true musicianship is not dead.
Just let em cook! Tank and Jay are great listeners. Smart podcast hosts!!!!!!!
Hands down the BEST episode ever! Smiled the whole way through. Terrace definitely fellowships the vibe. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I love me some Terrence Martin, he’s such a genius and genuine artist, I pray he gets all his flowers 💐 while he’s here🙏🏾
Thank You J Valentine & Tank!! Not too many people I can tolerate talking so damn much.. but I can listen Terrace & Glasper speak all day. Top 5 episode faSho.
That LA accent is infectious! lol
Terrace was a whole vibe!!!
As an indie artist and as a person I needed to hear this today 🥹🙏🏾Thanks y’all!
This dude KNOWS music and relates todays people to legendary people and he is on point.
Yall need to get Eric Roberson on the show!! Hands down one the best to ever hold a pen and Terrance Martin is correct about his shows… he knocks em out!

#TeamRnBMoney
You are not by yourself!!! I am right here with you!!!
@@MzPeachy me too!!!!!!
The way I almost dislocated my finger selecting this interview ❤❤❤❤
😂❤
To pimp a butterfly is one of my favorite albums of all time!
When Tank and Jamie are on a song together. Those are theeeee BEST Tank SONGS
Such a beautiful thing to see a true MUSICIAN just speak.
Terrace Martin is my favorite producer. I consider him our modern day Quincy Jones.
I respect this brother’s musicianship and his accomplishments! And his belief and appreciation for Cincinnati’s own Arin Ray. Let’s get it!! #TwoKings‼️
Terrace Martin you don’t just go inspire kids. I’m older than you and others may consider me successful. You inspired me.
WESTsydeee! Terrace, personifies true musical artistry… A Real Artist🔥
"MOMMA WHY WE NOT FROM COMPTON?!?" 😂😂😂
Jesse Powell's 'You' & 'If I' are Weekday midmorning Radio & Sunday Radio staples in South Africa. Finally, in the top 5❤️
Eric Roberson please!!!
Need this one!!!
Saturdays are for R&B Money !! (Even my kids know !)
I have watched every single episode. This one is one of THE best. A movie! And he’s from my town. This was great for an 80s LA baby 😉
Just made it to the point of 'To pimp a butterfly'. That album is 🤌🏾 I have to go listen! It's been a while. As soon as I'm done here, I'm on it! Thank you J and Tank for this podcast! I was late but I'm here!
Still vividly remember hearing TPAB the day it came out and the chills I got as I went thru it! It’s pretty crazy that a lot of so-called “hip hop heads” overlook it and think GKMC was the superior album. I honestly think TPAB should’ve been the one that got Dot the Pulitzer instead of DAMN. But he deserves it either way.
Some people may not understand how fire this interview is. Wow
Being from Cali, this whole interview had me cracking up! He is so Cali! I love down to earth musicians. He’s awesome and talented. So happy I got to hear his story
T MARTIN THE GOAT!!! LETS GOOOO R&B MONEY!!
My generations coltrane. Love Terrace martin since first here my dear mixtape and 3chord fold mixtape. I still play 3chord fold religiously. Velvet portraits is one of my favorite albums of all time. Thank you guys for having him here blends jazz, hip hop and r&b masterfully.
Bumped into Terrace at Burbank airport apparently both coming from the Bay Area, him coming from a gig and me doing a gig in Pasadena. And the bulk of our convo was his love for Oakland. Terrace is a representation of Californian musicianship. The Bay and LA have very different styles, but Cali and the whole west coast has a sound that no matter where I go in the world I’m so proud to flaunt my Cali swag. And Terrace embodies all that represents! Peace and love from the wesside
This was a conversation that I thought I didn’t need however one thing I have learned from watching R&B Money Since the beginning is that just because the person may not be familiar to you still give it a try & a listening ear & learn .Thanks to Terrance Martin for being Transparent in his Journey & now I know why the Core is so important ❤
Great segment and congrats Terrace. We appreciate you giving Eric Roberson his flowers. Would love to see him on here as well. 🎉
Terrace Martin's Top 5 Songs

terrace is a walking encyclopedia -i enjoy hearing him speak. always dropping knowledge.
This was a great interview!! ❤ his vibe!! What a talented musician. I love hearing him talk and learning about his background and his accomplishments!
This is amazing. I’ve been playing Terrace and Alex Isley’s ‘I Left My Heart in Ladera’ album all week, so it’s so dope to see this timeless legend finally get an episode on one of the best podcasts ever.🔥🔥🔥
That album is incredible! Mad Sade vibes!
That album is bananas & next time you see Bossladie on a tour, I'll definitely be her saxophonist!🤘🏾
Found out about terrace martin through Rory and Mal , everything he does is 🔥🔥
Blessed are the stranded choirs, for "they made it back!"
I have loved every single moment of this episode. I've never heard of him but I'm locked in now. What I respect to the utmost is the phone call to the parents to come get their baby. In a world where far too many adults will see the pitfalls and still let these babies fall off a cliff it is so good to know there's at least one person that thinks "if this were my baby......."
Caramel Kisses one of my favorite Faith songs
It’s a classic!!!
I'm so happy you guys let him come after cancelling ❤❤❤ because he's a wealth of knowledge just seeing and hearing him go back in time remembering his journey is valuable as always Thanks J & Tank ❤️❤️❤️ you guys are the greatest 💐💐💐
Yall gave me homework today
This was one of my fav episodes….. makes all of us weirdos feel less alone thanks Terrace

Great interview. Terrace Martin is so damn talented! That 3chordFold remix album with “Hey You”….maaannnn 🙌🏾
I saw T Martin live in DC a few years back with Robert Glasper. Big K.R.I.T. hipped me to both artists. Terrace is THAT DUDE!
Omg i really enjoyed this interview with terrace Martin explaining about Crenshaw wow he took me back I love it 🙋🏽♀️🙏🏾🫶🏾🎶🎤🎶✊🏾
“If they only sold cool in a can” 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This episode is the shitttt!! Terrance such a vibe this coulda went all day for me! I’d love to sit around and hear all of his stories musically and personally!
Maaaaan this is one of them ones! As an Atlanta artist i can say ive always had so much respect for LA . They are MUSICIANS! We might outwrite yal on the song side but LA got the instrumentation on LOCK! And its so incredibly deep and sophisticated. Terrace, 1500, james, kamasi, iman omari, name it. These guys are incredible on the recording and instrumentation side and i realize i need to get to LA for at least a year bruh its DIFFERENT out there!!
This was a DOPE episode! 🔥🔥🔥
Might be LA bias but my favorite episodes has been T Martin, Dj quik & Punch so much game and history 🫡
Blood...2 hours and 20 minutes in and we JUST hot Top 5! Incredible podcast

Terrace is important 🎵
Great interview. Terrace is our generation's bad mutha in his parlance! And if you liked Forever on Nintindo Soul, the One Night version on 9th Wonder's The Wonder Years tape featuring Phonte on vocals is extra special. 👌
💎💎💎♥️
“your gift will make room”
