The Triumph Bonneville Street Twin, First Ride on a day at Triumph HQ, special thanks to triumph for the invite. During the day we got to test any bike in the Bonneville range, also the new Visitors Experience Centre, well worth a day out and visit with Factory tours available from the 11th August. Had a splendid day out and getting hooked on these gorgeous machines. happily more Triumph’s coming to the channel in July, Stay Tuned. Also a new triumph Playlist added to my channel, nip over to Check out the Trident, Coming soon also is the Street Triple RS, Bonneville T120 and the lovely Thruxton. Thanks for the support and if not already subscribed, appreciate the sub and 👍 don’t miss these epic bikes coming to the channel soon. 🙏 thanks Nick @ MotoUK
I’m always a bit surprised that people see bikes like this as “commuters” or “city bikes”. I’ve one of these and have ridden it to the Arctic Circle, Poland and down through Italy. It’s a joy to ride and I would only consider chopping it for the Street Scrambler. When I were a lad (lantern swinging) I toured on a 350 all around Europe, took a CB500 to Corsica when I went on a 6 month army exchange. This is an anything and everything bike. I love the flexibility and at age 60 I’ve moved away from the big adv bikes and rediscovered the joy of a simple bike. Good review though, but your reviews usually are.
Thanks John 🙏 I must admit that in the last 1.5 years after riding all the Triumph’s the ones that were the most enjoyable were the classics, simple easy to ride but thrilling even at a slow speed. Hence why i just bought a Bonneville T120. 👍 Such a pleasure to ride and will be heading into europe on it in summer. When you mention Corsica, thats a place i have to get to on a bike soon, who knows maybe this year 😉 Thanks for tuning in John, all the best Nick
I’ve had a 2018 for 3 years now, Still lovin it. It was the last one they had. Made my choice on budget and looks. I liked the red colour, mag wheels and exhaust, plus as a re born rider, it felt both familiar and comfortable. Haven’t ridden any of the others
Enjoying the triumph reviews Nick, maybe a brand i might try in the future so food for thought, just been re watching your sunday ride series and the area you grew up in, just stunning, ride safe
That’s two videos now, that you have called Newton Meters, ‘Nano Meters’ 😂 I’m sorry, it just tickles me. Great review as always. Looking forward to the next video 👍🏻
very impressed with photos of the passing the camera mode, I think MCN could learn a lot from them, looks and feels safe, nice low seat but not a lot of bhp for 900cc and quite heavy so maybe not an entry level choice, a nice second bike to have for shorter trips or knocking around on but my favourite so far is the Trident, but that might change !!
Agree it’s a plodder bike ok for entry bike if you want a retro look. The trident is better though. The next bike the T100 is more substantial and have something a bit special coming soon 👍
Hi Bjorn, it’s a great bit of kit from Beeline take a look here: ua-cam.com/video/athN70ushoU/v-deo.html Or here:ua-cam.com/video/lNWxhWAZ1q0/v-deo.html
Conversely; there's a lot to be said about boring bikes such as this one. If you simply like riding bikes, I suppose that's simply what you get, & that's all that's required. All bikes are biking, & I imagine this one is great for an all round experience at entry level.?
CAN YOU IMAGINE THIS BIKE WITH ---- 1 ] SPOKE AUMINIUM WHEELS SPARKLING IN THE SUNSHINE 2 ] SHINING FRONT AND REAR META FENDERS 3 ] PROUD SHINING ENGINE THAT IT WOULD BE A JOY TO WASH IT 4 ] DOUBLE CARE OF THE SHAPE OF THE GAS TANK WITH STRIPES - A GAS TANK THAT COULD MAKE YOU BUY THE BIKE ONLY FOR THAT !!!!! 5 ] DOUBLE ANALOG CLOKS --- THIS SHOULD BE A TRIUMPH WORTH OF OWNING !!!! YES BUT THIS WOULD RISE THE COST !!!!! GENTLEMEN YOU ARE BUILDING TRIUMPHS -- HAVE YOU REALISE THAT ???? OTHERWAYS I WLL BUY AJAPANESE ONE !!!! TAKE A CLOSER LOOK OF THE KAWASAKI W800 AND TAKE YOUR LESSON -- AND YOU KNOW WHAT IS PITTY ???? THAT THE TRIUMPH IS BETER THAN THE KAWASAKI ON THE ROAD !!!!!!
