Someone tried to snag my '98 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder out of my parking lot. It was a stock car but my husband and I kept it clean. She was white with a black drop top and I fell in love the first time I saw her. The thieves got the door handle off (we actually heard something rattling inside the door itself, but we don't know what it was) and then promptly took off when they heard someone pull into the parking lot.
If the thief had been smart, he would have looked at the farthest end of the lot and seen my husband's '99 Eclipse Spyder. His was not stock. He had the nice rims, a flaked paint job, and tinted windows. His was more fun than mine to drive because it was also a twin turbo 4g64 engine. Dumbass would have had more luck with that car, tbh.

@@ryanharris6788 You can have standard capacity mags if they were purchased during freedom week last year or before the ban. Most guns are legal and you can get a license to carry. CA actually isn't as bad as some states like NY or NJ imo.

I've known guys with stories crazier than this, guys who I know would never tell a lie. Heck I've seen some crazy stuff myself. When I was 14 I chased a thief who had been stealing from cars in a dark parking lot. I called the police, lost him but saw him stash his backpack, and while trying to find him I ended up in a dark alley with an illegal drug trade going on and the cops ended up making multiple arrests. I showed the cops where the thief had stashed his backpack and it had all the electronics the guy had been stealing, and a bunch of his personal stuff including ways to identify him. Crazy stuff happens even when you dont put yourself in its path.

And don't go near it, especially at night me and my dad had to cut through the hood at 12 at night SKETCHY AS HELL
As someone from the Atlanta area (about 20 miles north) there are a lot of sketchy areas. Best thing the Braves did was move out of there as Turner Field was right in the middle of the worst area to be in at night.

Downtown ATL has a ton of carjackings. My uncle in East Cobb worked downtown and once had someone come through his sun roof at a stoplight! My uncle got out and let the guy have the car, but it was a manual and the criminal didn’t know how to drive it. Best anti-theft device on a car!

We all know someone who tells crazy stories. At first you think they are just victims of circumstance but after enough stories you realize they are dangerous to be around as they are just cosmic magnets for craziness. Love this guy.

Teaser: I once bought a partially disassembled orphan car from a legit coke head, who was literally on the run from warrants at the time, from his abandoned and in the process of being seized buy-here-pay-here-lot, at 2am, in a few inches of snow, with a '68 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed _convertible_ as my escort vehicle to pick it up...
Then I discovered the previous owner lived in it, with his German Shepard, for several weeks while going from Nevada to Indiana.... Went to title it and discovered that guy was in prison. So both the seller and the previous owner were both in prison before I could even register the car.
Unbelievably, this story gets even more hilarious and odd, but that's the nut shell version.

I swear, some people really are a magnet for trouble. This guy always has something going on and is one of the best story tellers I've ever seen. He's one of those people that can not only tell a great story, but makes it so easy to visualize every detail that I really feel like I'm there
This guy has a lot of crazy things happen to him.... To the point where I've begun to question if they've really happened the way he's described.... The story of Stephen and how spacey he actually was and how many times he would let his car roll back into them... It was just hard to stomach for me. It's just begun to seem really embellished.
