Sorry Ed. You have some great stories and always love listen to you but you just can't hold a candle to Christopher.
That gravel road they went up, must've been Titus Canyon road, its about a mile away from the street with the decaying stone buildings, there are a few small ghost towns like Leadfield out there, which is actually where the picture of the metal shack was probably from, I just did a drive through that road and further down theres a super cool slot canyon, cool how its in a VinWiki Story now
Id have to say that Ed is my favorite to hear stories from just because of his voice, Chris is in second. Hes always hot some crazy interesting stories. Rabbit is third for me.
Hell man, I put 110,000 on a 2008 GSX-R 750 in a year, and I live in the Midwest. I bought it brand new and rode it every day, rain, shine, and even snow a couple of times. Dirt roads? Hell yeah, I took that thing everywhere, didn't even own a car, that was it, and without fail, every weekend I took off on it all weekend and put at least 1000-1500 miles on it every weekend not to mention my normal use during the week. I'd probably still have it except it got stolen and I kinda took it as my sign that it was time to give up riding.
His little Cannonball reminded me of an experience I had last spring. I live east of San Diego and decided to take a trip up the cost in my old rusty af Buick Lesabre. About a week into the trip I woke up in Seattle with no money, I decided to non-stop drive all the way down the west coast. I did it in about 18hrs.
He is a great story teller and has a whole lot of them! I am a little impressed with how often he seems to have walked very close to BIG trouble, but still have never really got burned. But yeah I love Chris' videos
Thanks Donjear. I've certainly had my share of bad luck but those aren't very good stories. I do consider myself fortunate to have had so many close calls and escaped unscathed.
