Huh! I must have missed the video somewhere of how you use your trim it rulers. NOW I understand how you use them to determine your seam allowance, etc. Thanks for that awesome explanation. Funny - I caught your "mistake" before Cassie told you. LOL!
I can only wish to be as organized as you are! Sometimes I wonder how you keep everything so organized, especially with so many projects running all the time! Your stitching red threads every morning followed by sewing blocks for quilts, designing new fabrics….. wow!!!😮🎉❤
Thank you so much for giving us the cutting instructions for this block.I wish I could afford to buy all these beautiful books but I can’t .So thanks for all your help and wonderful instructions.God bless .
I think I’m going to do just the 5 and 10” blocks for a quilt. I plan to use my compilation of your fabrics. I’m doing the chicken sew along now with Pat Sloan and your 2 books, but I have lots more of your fabrics. Thank you for your inspiration Miss Lori Holt.
I love everything you make! I like your method of making the HST sections. Also thank you for the measurements for the 10” blocks. I will be making the table runner along with you.
Thank you for another wonderful video. I have several (many - lol) of your collections - you have knocked it out of the park with this Hometown collection. Thanks for keeping us inspired. Love your hair!
Such beautiful, perfect blocks, Lori!!! I love your method for doing those easy corner triangles!! So perfect!!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!!! Your hair is sooo pretty!!! :)
Lori, Thank you for creating these videos. I have been making these units the old fashion way. You are a life saver. Love your instructions so much. You are such a talented and caring individual.
The love the block. Woohoo another Lori quilt coming up for me. I think I'll mix some Hometown and Bee Vintage for this block/quilt (10"x10") and table runner of course. This will be my first table runner.
Love watching you sew the blocks, you make it look so easy, makes me feel confident I can sew any of your patterns, I feel the same way when I watch floss tube, to watch someone stitch it gives me confidence that I can stitch on higher count
I am so excited to see this series! My HomeTown and Bee Dots fabrics are being sent as I type! You are my absolute favorite quilter and I love all of your sew alongs and thank you for this YT channel!
Love your Sew Your Stash Series. So fun to watch you sew and all the good instructions and tips you give us. Thank you for sharing your time with us. ❤
Love your quilts . Have made a few of them . Love the fabric that you keep coming out with . Getting ready to make a wedding ring quilt with ur prairie designs ❤
Hurrah! I just saw a pin of a quilt with this block and have been thinking about how to make it. I recently subscribed to you and thought "how would Lori make it"? What fun to find your tutorial. I want to make the quilt with my scraps of 30's reproduction fabrics.
I know Kassidy has a baby to look after but later when time allows I was wondering does she quilt, cross stitch , and or sew. I think I remember photos of her at a young age doing embrodery.?
Hi Lori, These blocks are beautiful. Your videos are so helpful. I am a beginner quilter. Right now, I am making your string quilt blocks. I am arranging them diagonally. Do you have a suggestion for machine quilting the blocks as a table runner after I pin on the backing. Thank you for your kindness.
Do any of you know where to find a written pattern or directions for these 5 and 10 inch blocks? Love this. I can jot them down for now, but would like to have a copy to save. GOTTA LOVE LORI!
I love your little design boards. Did you make them or did you purchase them? I am new to your channel and I am really enjoying it. I love working with vintage fabrics also.
I've been watching the later videos of "Home Town". Totally enjoying them, glad I finally found the earlier ones. I have several 1/4 yd. pieces of several of your different lines as well as several fat quarters of your Fall line. Question: Could the corner areas of the block be cut with a hst, qst, and square instead of easy corner triangles to get the triangles? I'm planning on doing my cutting with my AccuQuilt. I love it when you sew on "Millie". Mildred was my paternal grandmother and I have her 221 Featherweight. I'm going to have it serviced and use her. Millie will be her name also.
Can you tell me what are the name of those rulers you are using to check your block with ? I love your instructions and your use of scraps ! I'm glad I found your you tube viideo!
Sorry Lori but i have a question that Fat Quarter didn't have an answer for. What other color of Aida can be used on you're chicken cross stitch. Im all prepared except for the fabric. Im hoping i have it on hand, so i can get going.
If you want the corner block to finish at 3.5 instead of 2.5 what sizes do you need? Where can I find that information? Love your way of making the block. Thanks.
Hi Lori I'm new to you videos and I have joined. But I need to ask what is the name of the 5 inch block your making in you current video and where can I find a pattern - possibly in one of your books? Would be most appreciative if you would tell me where. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. PAMELA M Long.
Am I missing something? I have 40 numbered little bags of fabric for 40 pieced squares. This tutorial references block# 1. Which other numbered bags are made like this block? I'm having so much fun making all these houses and blocks with Lori.
Lori you look fabulous you have lost alot of weight. Wonderful 🎉
I have to say that my seams sew easy has made my sewing so much more accurate, and I rarely lose points now. Thanks Lori
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I need to have free sew your stash sentries. I have ADHD. And for some reason this helps me keep focus.
I was super excited to see a new video from our dear Lori!! I LOVE your Sew Stash Series! Thank you Lori!!
