Love how you get to the point and give us all the info we need. I have a Lovevery subscription for my 6 month old and have been loving it but always looking for cheaper alternatives. Not sure if I’ll try this out yet but I’ll keep it in mind. Appreciate the video and I always look forward to seeing more 😊

As parents I understand that time is quite valuable for us! At the younger ages you probably don’t really need anything else besides the subscription to Lovevery. Maybe when your little one gets older and wants more activities.

Also, AliExpress has amazing toys for low cost. They have even more Montessori aligned toys than Temu. Even traditional Montessori toys are a fraction of the price in a lot of cases. I always make sure to read the reviews before purchase.
And the people that say don't buy from AliExpress or Temu because of toxins and whatnot are very naïve if they actually think the Amazon toys and the Temu toys are not manufactured in the exact same places.

Thank for sharing. Still on fence about Temu. I have found a few basic Montessori toys at TJMaxx.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the other items you got or on anything else you’re thinking about buying. I do also worry about the safety, particularly lead content. Lovevery toys are also from China but I assume they go through a more rigorous vetting process than Temu. Thanks for the video!

Since I already own every Lovevery Play Kit there weren't too many toys that wouldn't overlap with the ones from Lovevery. However, I have end up buying storage from them like clear plastic bins with lids and handles for organization of all the toys and those have turned out decent so far. Not extremely cheap, but cheaper than buying from Amazon for an item that seems identical.

I'd be worried about lead content in the toys since they're coming straight from China

That is a good point I didn't consider! Definitely worth considering before you purchase!

    Hello Mr. Lu,
Question for you: When your children were infants did you ever buy toys for them besides what came in their play kits ? I subscribe to Lovevery but my little one doesn’t like all the toys or just doesn’t “get them” or looks bored quickly. Thank you for your time and great video!

I did have a subscription to both Lovevery and KiwiCo Panda Crates when my son was an infant and thought those two alone was more than enough to keep my son entertained. I would say under 1 year old even Lovevery alone would offer enough toys and activities for your little one. Additionally implementing toy rotations give some toys a second or even third life when reintroducing them later. Many of the Lovevery toys have other ways to interact with them when your child’s gets older.

My best guess is that these are directly from the factory taking out the middle man cut and warehouse storage fees. Manufacturers can sell directly on Amazon but there are some fees each sale and even cost money to have the items stored at Amazon warehouses. Maybe Temu doesn’t take as big of a cut as Amazon. My best guess is the quality is what’s taking the biggest hit. Like the Ukulele I bought not the best quality but works well for current situation of introducing an inexpensive instrument and to my children. If they do get real interest in it I’d invest in a better one elsewhere.
