Finally i found it
This very much reminds me of how I really want to mod Smash 4 to change the custom specials. There is so much potential especially in Smash 4 for the custom specials to be much more akin to what characters can actually do in their series. I just have no idea where to start in doing such a thing or if it would be possible to do the same for the 3DS version. I would even love to be able to add custom moves for the DLC fighters; at least, those I could think of custom specials for.
So glad content creators are giving this mod attention. It feels… professional to me.
Mods are what will keep the game alive if you don't care about competitive ho ha

Alot of the new moves are just carried over moves though, unfortunately.
@@Irreve-rsible Same could be said of the original Smash game with new characters. Byleth’s N-Air is literally Palutena. It doesn’t detract from the quality of the mod.
@@Tuxkick True, but I would expect everything on the mod to be new. Versus slightly changed.
I like the attempt at making Hero's Command Selection faster to read, but I think some graphical icons next to the names might work better - like a little guy with a power aura for Oomph and Psyche Up, some Z's for Snooze, a slashy crescent for Flame Slash and Kacrackle Slash, a feather and up arrow for Zoom, and so on. Some of the actual Dragon Quest games had icons like those to differentiate types of skills, but I forgot how they look exactly.
You're right, but I think that would take a lot more time to implement. As it is they were able to just use a bunch of existing unicode characters, picking ones that seemed to fit. Better icons would require someone to actually design every one of them, which would be a lot more effort. Hopefully they'll get to it sometime!

That's because they have to use text to create those icons, and add them to the text of the names of the attacks (the original mod page explains it better)
Dark Samus looks absolutely incredible.
It fixes Samus' biggest problem in Smash: nothing but spam
Adding magic to byleths kit is really cool, and dark samus legit looks crazy. Big fan of this mod.
The Joker change is so cool! The gun cancels feel like the 1 More mechanic in the Persona games where you get to strike again.
Yeah I love the patches they did with Ganon. He seems like he would climb the tier list and his floating mechanic is just a thing he should do.
Yep, replacing his Warlock Punch with a teleport move and special air making him float.
His Warlock Punch is still in there as a taunt and acting similar to one of Luigi's Taunts

What a strange mod. They modified some characters in cool ways, like Ganon and D Samus, but neutered others like Richter and Pika. You can really feel the dev bias. Lol
In the old school Castlevania games, Richter and Simon both have really stiff jumps so the mods are probably trying to imitate that feel.
It's so much work to redesign 82 characters properly, I was surprised that even this much work had been done.

@@woahmax The thing is, the Belmonts already have some of the stiffest jumps in vanilla Smash, why make them worse? unless this is the first time cFive and vyQ play the Belmonts in a long time and don't remember how bad their aerieal mobility is.

Damn this gives Sora flowmotion from Dream Drop Distance? That's so cool, it's a movement tech in this specific KH game that allows you to travel crazy distances super fast and even initiate some special attacks, if it works like it did in ssf2 where it was also his side B, hitting it allows to combo on hit into 5 different autocombos that act like command grabs, one for each direction and another one for neutral stick position, which have different launch angles and combos possibilities
I’ve been playing this mod the last few weeks, I think it strikes a good balance of changes that make the game feel faster while not just dropping all the newer mechanics and making melee like HDR does. It’s really fun even for me who is too casual to ever have learned how to wavedash
If this was what Smash 6 would be like, I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

Imagine if custom moves were this good in Smash 4.
If only custom moves weren’t a massive pain in the ass to get in Smash 4. They could have been used more and the concept could have been carried over to Ultimate.
Perfect pivots are the ONLY thing I miss from smash 4, glad to see them in this mod
Richter’s moveset is actually a lot more accurate now
I will say,the Bowser down Air and cool stuff for the echos like Roy’s neutral b,Lucina’s stance thing and just dark samus entirely is pretty rad.
Ultimate S is so underrated mod ngl
this is a really cool ganon rework but i feel like the one thing he needs in his moveset to make him more accurate is the bouncing energy ball that you can bat back and forth, like that's the entire boss fight in ocarina of time he basically just does that so why not give it to him
Exactly, Ganon should have that as one of his specials for sure.
Ganondorf's normals with Mewtwo's specials would probably be the best Ganon we could get

Ok but that fireball is so fitting for bowser. And on top of that, it’s not the same fire spitting thing that Charizard uses, or the same type of attack that anyone holding a fire flower could use.

Glad a lot of mods for Smash games actually respect Dark Samus as being a different character. I like a lot of the unique animations they gave her in base Ultimate but it’s absolutely pathetic they didn’t change any moves and made many of them have identical animations to Samus. Big ups for even changing the crouch.

I like what they're doing with the characters, Dark Samus for example was such a missed opportunity to in Ultimate, but I love how they incorporate her Dark Echo afterimages to her moveset, and Richter embraces more of his martial arts techniques, would be cool to have his Spin Kick attack as side smash too.
Lucina is by far the coolest. I kind of wish we'd collectively get over Pika's 64 bair though.

Wooh, someone listened to MockRock!! Love Ganon's new Neutral-B, guess he would too.
I really like the Roy here! It feels more faithful to his game.
Some changes were dope, like the DPit Side-B or the Ganon ones. But I don't get why they did some of the other. Yes, people dislike campy Belmonts, but you can't take their signature axe away. Except maybe if Simon still has it. Have to see more of the mod to better judge. I don't know how I feel about randomly redistributing character's moves like with Pika and DPit, it seems a little out of place sometimes. And of course they gave Falco the Melee Shine...
But in general this one seems like a cool mod. Not as Melee biased as the other one that was literally just Melee with an Ultimate Skin. This kept the core mechanics and expanded on them instead of just reverting everything, which I really liked.
Give Simon axes and Richter knives. Problem solved. Also let their whip attacks connect to objects like platforms, ledges and characters like Byleth and Joker's up special and let them swing from said objects.

Dude, those Lucina and ESPECIALLY THAT JOKER were sick changes. Cancelling everything to Gun was just... I dunno, it would be obnoxious to fight someone who was good at it but even as I lost miserably I'd be like "Yo this Joker is awesome."

it's things like this that makes me wish sakurai would hand over the reigns of smashbros to another director with visions different from his. This was absolutely fantastic to watch simply because of the creativity.

@@MadMax-ii8gq getting bricked means your console can't even turn on, while getting banned means your console can't access online features

I main Ken, so I'm used to jab leading into nutty kill moves, but I imagine thats a pretty big development for non-FGC players and Kazuya
Nice to know the character I wanted to see 8:13 only seems to slip off the edge after dash attack with no more information after that. If there is nothing after that they didn't even try with Mac, he's the perfect character for turbo modeesque combos granted his launch power should be toned down a bit.

I’m not one of those guys that just plays this game to criticize everything all the time, but I really like the way these guys handled Byleth more than the actual game. They leaned way too hard into listening to people saying “there’s too many sword characters waah but it would be compleeeetly different if it was a lance instead” even though Byleth has the coolest sword and just hardly uses it imo
I feel like a lot of "new" moves are just random moves slapped into another character, kinda ruins it imo... Definitely seems fun though, Byleth looks absolutely insane

dark samus seems to be a play off of fukua from skull girls, making an energy clone that you can keep out but drains your health the longer its out
