The character I came up with is this. Base character is Terry. Nair: Ganondorf Dair: Ganondorf Bair: Sephiroth Uair: Sephiroth Fair: Bowser Jab: Mega man Utilt: Snake Ftilt: Snake Dtilt: Snake Dash attack: Snake Neutral B: Snake Down B: Snake Up B: Kazuya Side B: Richter Up Smash: Snake Forward smash: Kazuya Down smash: Kazuya (Assuming that this can be changed) Pummel: Snake Uthrow: Kazuya Fthrow: DK Bthrow: Sephiroth Dthrow: Snake For anyone who cares, I'll give my explanations, and for anyone who wants a TLDR: Snake is good, what if we gave him more utility, better movement, and more kill options. Dorf Nair: arguably the best in the Nair in the game, long lasting and strong. Dorf Dair: its based, and also no one wants to get hit by a move that strong, on stage or off. Sephiroth Bair has long reach and is a good kill option Sephiroth Uair: spacing? What's that? Bowser Fair: it's a good move, and I'll admit that nothing else really came to mind Mega man Jab: lemons Snake Utilt: good kill move, and also (insert brawl hitbox joke here) Snake Ftilt: comes out frame 4 Snake Dtilt: good reach, good poking tool, and also I'm used to it. Dorf Dtilt was also up for consideration due to it's similar nature. Snake Dash attack: super fast and the start of it makes his upper body intangible. Snake Neutral B: there is no character that wouldn't benefit from having snakes grenades. Best Neutral B in the game, the only debate I'll take is shulk's monado arts because it fall into a similar category. Snake Down B: snake's C4 gives an incredible amount of stage control and let's him recover from pretty much anywhere. Kazuya Up B: snake's drone but faster, also a great kill option Richter side B: more projectiles and combo potential. Kazuya Side B was up for consideration though since it could be a great option to set up for a kill. I decided against it because it's laggy up it misses or hits shield, and also I don't feel like figuring out if Kazuya's Side/Up B thing applies in this situation since the character would have both. (You can't use side B and Up B together in the air, if you use one, you can't use the other until you land back on stage or grab ledge.) Snake Up Smash: More projectiles and Ledge trapping Kazuya Forward Smash: I'm guessing this is the one with the most kill potential. It deals something like 40% when fully charged and the sweetspot hits. Kazuya Down Smash: it's a shield breaker. I'll let the opposition find out what happens when they try to shield one of the grenades. Snake Pummel is good, but if it has to stay the same as the base characters Pummel, there's no issue with that. Kazuya Up throw: it's a kill throw and nothing else came to mind. DK Forward Throw: why have 4 throws when you can have 7-8 (I refuse to debate if the cargo hold itself is a throw.) Sephiroth Back throw: it has some combos. Only thing that comes to mind immediately though is B throw into Bair at lower percents (both of them are Sephiroth Moves. 10 points to whoever can guess why I know that combos.) Snake Down Throw: tech chases. As I said before, my overall reasoning came down to the fact that I play Snake, I know how dumb his tools are, so what if we gave him more. Initially my original base was Sephiroth, but the idea I had for the moveset reached a point where having someone with the same weight as f*cking Kirby leads to a character that dies a way too early. I stand by the fact that Snake's grenades would benefit any character, but having a move set that is pretty much just snake's but better on one of the lightest characters in the game doesn't allow for a character that can survive for that long. It'd be the same thing as giving Mythra Ganondorf's speed and weight. Her frame data would be great and she'd likely be able to survive for longer, but good luck accomplishing anything with a character that slow with that little power. You'd likely just end up playing Pyra most, if not all, of the time.
i actually had an idea for a dlc character back during the last 2 or 3 dlc slots. it was ditto and you could customize it like a mii but you could pick every one of its moves from any character. glad my idea has been made through a mod
This is the content i was waiting for. Just like good old moveset-swap in brawl used to be. Please do more episodes of this concept with different stuff!
Here’s how you make the best character in the game: Greninja base attributes Steve blocks Mario down throw Bayonetta up and side b Falco up tilt Bowser or Shulk forward air Byleth or Palutena up air Boom. That’s really all you need for Smash 4 Bayonetta on steroids (Maybe throw in a projectile or two to force an approach. Hero down b comes to mind)
I would love to see a video series on this concept with Ultimate character archetypes. Ultimate spammer with Sonic for speed, an Lucario survivor, an heavy hitter who can kill super early, etc...
I'm still waiting for somebody to make the ultimate projectile spammer. Samus neutral b, Snake down b, Villager side b, Rob up b, Villager forward/back air, Megaman up/down/neutral air, Palutena up smash, Mii Gunner side smash, Game&Watch down smash, Megaman forward tilt/jab, Game&Watch down tilt, Steve up tilt, Isabel grab, Kazuya up throw, Fox back throw, Rob down throw, and Bowser pummel. At least, that's my idea of an opponent you couldn't possibly get close to. Oh, and put all of this in an incredibly small body, like Pichu, or a heavy with built in armor, like Bowser or Kazuya.
i know this vid is old now, but it would be awesome if u did this again but only fusing 2 characters together, so like for example wii fit and falcon, the character can only have moves from both and it needs to be the same amount of moves from each character
Without watching the video, my character would be: Model, jumps, movement: Sonic Jab: Isabelle Ftilt: Ganon Dtilt: Incineroar Utilt: Steve FSmash: Sonic DSmash: Ness USmash: Min Min Nair: Paluntena Fair: Steve Bair: Sephiroth Dair: Game & Watch Uair: Incineroar Grab: Pac-Man Pummel: Kazuya Fthrow: DK, if banned Kazuya Bthrow: Incineroar Uthrow: Mewtwo Dthrow: Luigi NSpecial: Shulk, if banned Joker SSpecial: Sonic DSpecial: Sonic USpecial: Game & Watch Luigi’s grab game with Steve Fair replacing Luigi down air. Incineroar dtilt and Paluntena Nair also extend combos. Pretty sure Luigi down throw combos into MinMin up smash at kill percent, but if it doesn’t, you have Incineroar and Mewtwo kill throws. Other than that, you’re Sonic with ludicrously fast kill moves and combo starters, plus Game and Watch Up Special to escape from anything.
omg you guys NEED to make a part 2!!.. Like restrict it so whatever moves & character you guys just had, you can't pick again. But cFive could pick whatever vyQ had etc.
The most cursed fighter moveset ever: Piranha Plant with. . . Natural Special: Charge Shot (Dark Samus) Side Special: Photon Edge (Mythra) Up Special: Balloon Trip (Isabelle) Down Special: Command Selection (Hero) Jab: Little Mac Foward Tilt: Bayonetta Up Tilt: Gannondorf Down Tilt: Meta Knight Neutral Air: King K. Rool Forward Air: Captain Falcon Up Air: Richter Down Air: Dr. Mario Forward Smash: Min Min Down Smash: Steve Up Smash: Palutena Dash Attack: King Dedede Edge Attack: Ridley Floor Attacks: Cloud Grab / Pummel: Yoshi Forward Throw: Mewtwo Up Throw: Ness Back Throw: Lucas Down Throw: Bowser Final Smash: Zelda
That's a nice idea, but consider: Samus model/stats (Good air mobility, heaviest character without being a superheavy. Also less relevant, but ledge attack is pretty big. Rip rolls tho) Tilts: F - Marth (Pivot Ftilt is actually surprisingly good with Samus' movement, and Marth's Ftilt is large, disjointed, and fairly easy to tipper) U - Falco (Big anti-air, and Samus has the mobility to get good combos off it) D - Samus (This move is disgusting, and people don't talk about it. It can two frame easily, and can kill confirm with a good aerial) Smashes: F - Meta Knight (Who needs endlag, am I right? You'll be forcing air dodges near the ground a lot due to the up tilt, so this has a surprising amount of use cases between that and ledge trapping) U - Ridley (Out of the "cover the entire platform" options, this is the fastest for out of shielding people if they cross you up. I did consider Ganondorf for the obscene shield damage the front hitbox has though) D - Little Mac (Fast, armored two framing to beat out large hitboxes. Meta Knight was also in consideration for speed and disjoint though) Aerials N - Pikachu (Dragdown into imagination. In an absolutely dire situation, Nair to Down Tilt kills around 130-150 depending on character) U - Corrin (One of the better upward swings. Less laggy than Pyra, Sephiroth, or Ike, bigger and stronger than most other takes on the concept. Should connect reliably out of up tilt for a while, and potentially kill confirms off down tilt against floatier characters) F - Lucina (Tippers are more finicky in the air, and Samus should be able to carry people well with this) D - Snake (No spike, but it comes out really fast and gives an air stall. Because this character needed more options OOS and recovery power) B - Samus (Down Tilt Bair kill confirms at ledge. Her movement stats feel very tuned around Bair's hitbox. If you're not as comfortable with her movement, Cloud is a perfectly fine substitute) Other normals: Jab - Little Mac (frame 1, and more reliable than ZSS') Dash Attack - Snake (Why is it invincible?) Specials: N - Mii Gunner's Mortar (This thing is obscene, the only thing keeping it in check is Mii Gunner's god awful movement. Let's fix that) S - Incineroar (They tried shielding? In mid range? Lol. Lmao, even. This gives you a reliable kill button if for some reason none of the confirms are working) U - Game and Watch. D - Sheik (Recovery, most likely kill confirms off a lot of previous tools) Grab+Throws: Grab - Samus (Tethers are better than ever in Ultimate, and you force shield a lot in its effective range. Plus, this bundles in the best Zair in the game for even more mid-range harassment and recovery utility. Probably confirms into Bouncing Fish too) U - Mewtwo (Strongest up throw besides Incineroar, but the increased base KB means you can use it to set up juggles earlier than the cat's) F - Jigglypuff (Post patch, the angle this sends at is disgusting. Sets up into Fair pretty easily, and hard reading their jump into Bouncing Fish probably kills them at absurd percents) D - Snake (At the point where Snake can guarantee up tilt, Samus can guarantee down tilt. And it will absolutely kill by then. Until then, Grab, Ftilt, Side B, Down Smash, and Dair all cover multiple options well, and lead to goid reward or even a stock) B - Ness. Up Taunt: Snake (I almost forgot to give Samus a second projectile, and somehow Puff Forward throw just feels like it puts them in just the right place that a box will force a high recovery) Final report: This character thrives in neutral and advantage, with a lot of big hitboxes and ways to either confirm kills or just kill outright. She's especially good at forcing shields and capitalizing with her grab or Alolan Whip, or just outright popping them with Mortar plus aerial or tipper f-tilt. Mortar can also lead to generous confirm windows even if not blocked. She still has to deal with the typical Samus issues of getting out of disadvantage (especially juggles), but she has enough ways to play with her aerial momentum that it should be a bit better than "drop Bomb and pray". I elected not to give her any cheese like Rest, Monado, KO, or Waft in order to keep her design focused. The end result will be a character who feels oppressive to fight, but that the opponent can't complain about being a proper zoner. She only has one real projectile, guys.
I think the best way to approach this challenge is to tame your main and leave most of their kit the same but change the moves used the least to be Incredibly Broken. That way your playing with a kit you already mostly understand but get broken options to use separate from the kit.
The real most broken character would have Mythra's movement, Steve's jab and blocks, Kazuya's EWGF, Sonic's spin dash, Palutena's nair, G&W up-b, and Cloud back-air.

I think KO punch in this is OP, it should be one of those mechanics where you have to use little mac base model to use it. I don't see how giving your custom character KO punch is any less fair than giving custom character Lucario's Aura.
I think VyQ made the better overall character, but I think both are sleeping on how good incineroar's down tilt is. It combos forever, and on an actual fast character it would be insane. Running in, poking with down tilt and then following up with a pyra forward or up air.
The hero Oomph and pshych up are such good buffs to a custom moveset. Like pyra with oomph is a monster. Imagine if you can get monado buster + oomph + psych up?
What if you created a character, using frame data, that is specifically curated to have the easiest-to-perform, most consistent zero-to-death combo possible?
if you used Marth as a base, would your moves have tippers? if you used Robin as a base, would your moves have levin sword's killpower? if you used joker as a base, would you get arsene power on all your custom moves? so many questions
You can mod these custom fighters onto pokemon trainer and make them switch with taunt. Then you'd have that cursed diddy, cursed inkling and cursed sheik all in one fighter
I have so many questions about the limits of this. For example can you have Shulk’s monatos on anyone other than Shulk? Even if not can you have Shulk but with other moves, like smash monato knee killing at 10%? Can you put the pyra/mythra swap with each swap having their own set of moves? Same idea with pokémon trainer? Can you put MinMin down B onto other characters? Really enjoyed the video and hope to see more stupid abominations!

Snake Ftilt: comes out frame 4
Snake Dtilt: good reach, good poking tool, and also I'm used to it.
Kazuya Up B: snake's drone but faster, also a great kill option
Richter side B: more projectiles and combo potential.
Kazuya Side B was up for consideration though since it could be a great option to set up for a kill. I decided against it because it's laggy up it misses or hits shield, and also I don't feel like figuring out if Kazuya's Side/Up B thing applies in this situation since the character would have both. (You can't use side B and Up B together in the air, if you use one, you can't use the other until you land back on stage or grab ledge.)
Snake Up Smash: More projectiles and Ledge trapping
Kazuya Forward Smash: I'm guessing this is the one with the most kill potential.
DK Forward Throw: why have 4 throws when you can have 7-8 (I refuse to debate if the cargo hold itself is a throw.)
Sephiroth Back throw: it has some combos. Only thing that comes to mind immediately though is B throw into Bair at lower percents (both of them are Sephiroth Moves. 10 points to whoever can guess why I know that combos.)
Snake Down Throw: tech chases.
Here’s how you make the best character in the game:
Greninja base attributes
Steve blocks
Mario down throw
Bayonetta up and side b
Falco up tilt
Bowser or Shulk forward air
Byleth or Palutena up air
Boom. That’s really all you need for Smash 4 Bayonetta on steroids
(Maybe throw in a projectile or two to force an approach. Hero down b comes to mind)
I would love to see a video series on this concept with Ultimate character archetypes. Ultimate spammer with Sonic for speed, an Lucario survivor, an heavy hitter who can kill super early, etc...
I liked the new American Documentary style!
The Office cut aways!💯👌🤣
I was laughing seeing Inkling use Steve’s fire attack because it made me wonder what was going through her head at that moment!
Snake utilt, Fox dash attack, G&W upb, Hero command selection...this man was serious 😂
I really want a pt2 to this
i know this vid is old now, but it would be awesome if u did this again but only fusing 2 characters together, so like for example wii fit and falcon, the character can only have moves from both and it needs to be the same amount of moves from each character
This was a great video and I had lot of fun watching it, thank you 😊
i once imagined a mod where you could do this in game maybe in 1000 years but this is dope
Without watching the video, my character would be:
Model, jumps, movement: Sonic
Jab: Isabelle
Ftilt: Ganon
Dtilt: Incineroar
Utilt: Steve
FSmash: Sonic
DSmash: Ness
USmash: Min Min
Nair: Paluntena
Fair: Steve
Bair: Sephiroth
Dair: Game & Watch
Uair: Incineroar
Grab: Pac-Man
Pummel: Kazuya
Fthrow: DK, if banned Kazuya
Bthrow: Incineroar
Uthrow: Mewtwo
Dthrow: Luigi
NSpecial: Shulk, if banned Joker
SSpecial: Sonic
DSpecial: Sonic
USpecial: Game & Watch
Luigi’s grab game with Steve Fair replacing Luigi down air.
Enjoyed this format! Cool concept!!
omg you guys NEED to make a part 2!!..
Like restrict it so whatever moves & character you guys just had, you can't pick again. But cFive could pick whatever vyQ had etc.
I loved the modding but I liked even more the mid match edits with added commentary
Loving the interview cuts during the matches!
just found your channel. gotta say never seen such someone truly live up to their name but you guys are some real beefy smash doods.
Was that TCNick3 George at the beginning?
I’m pretty sure they’ve played with nicks George before in a video so they know about him, so i say it is
Rest AND KO punch?
Yeah, officer, this is the guy.
I'm surprised that neither character had any kind of projectiles.
Quite frankly, they wanted to make “cool” characters lol
The most cursed fighter moveset ever: Piranha Plant with. . .
Natural Special: Charge Shot (Dark Samus)
Side Special: Photon Edge (Mythra)
Up Special: Balloon Trip (Isabelle)
Down Special: Command Selection (Hero)
Jab: Little Mac
Foward Tilt: Bayonetta
Up Tilt: Gannondorf
Down Tilt: Meta Knight
Neutral Air: King K. Rool
Forward Air: Captain Falcon
Up Air: Richter
Down Air: Dr. Mario
Forward Smash: Min Min
Down Smash: Steve
Up Smash: Palutena
Dash Attack: King Dedede
Edge Attack: Ridley
Floor Attacks: Cloud
Grab / Pummel: Yoshi
Forward Throw: Mewtwo
Up Throw: Ness
Back Throw: Lucas
Down Throw: Bowser
Final Smash: Zelda
I hope they do this again. Like they can try to supe up their mains while trying to keep them same enough
I like how they turned this into part documentary
Inkling with weird stretchy arms actually looks pretty natural. Seeing as Inkling is a stretchy looking cartoon octopus squid thing.
I'm not sure how well it would work, but given the same tools my first thought is ZSS down smash > Ganon side special > Sora down tilt > Roy up-smash
Some of these animations are so cursed !!!
GGs :D
"Kirby down air isn't so good on Kirby because he is floaty." -vyQ
0:39 pichu's hurtbox is actually bigger than Pikachu's
Oh, the things I could do to bayonetta with this.
Range, kill power, combos, so much stuff
little mac forward smash can be angled as a combo starter and deal crazy damage as well
You guys should do one, when you make a character for each other and you have to try and make the worst possible character
That's a nice idea, but consider:
Samus model/stats (Good air mobility, heaviest character without being a superheavy. Also less relevant, but ledge attack is pretty big. Rip rolls tho)
Tilts:
F - Marth (Pivot Ftilt is actually surprisingly good with Samus' movement, and Marth's Ftilt is large, disjointed, and fairly easy to tipper)
U - Falco (Big anti-air, and Samus has the mobility to get good combos off it)
D - Samus (This move is disgusting, and people don't talk about it. It can two frame easily, and can kill confirm with a good aerial)
Smashes:
F - Meta Knight (Who needs endlag, am I right? You'll be forcing air dodges near the ground a lot due to the up tilt, so this has a surprising amount of use cases between that and ledge trapping)
U - Ridley (Out of the "cover the entire platform" options, this is the fastest for out of shielding people if they cross you up. I did consider Ganondorf for the obscene shield damage the front hitbox has though)
D - Little Mac (Fast, armored two framing to beat out large hitboxes. Meta Knight was also in consideration for speed and disjoint though)
Aerials
N - Pikachu (Dragdown into imagination. In an absolutely dire situation, Nair to Down Tilt kills around 130-150 depending on character)
U - Corrin (One of the better upward swings. Less laggy than Pyra, Sephiroth, or Ike, bigger and stronger than most other takes on the concept. Should connect reliably out of up tilt for a while, and potentially kill confirms off down tilt against floatier characters)
F - Lucina (Tippers are more finicky in the air, and Samus should be able to carry people well with this)
D - Snake (No spike, but it comes out really fast and gives an air stall. Because this character needed more options OOS and recovery power)
B - Samus (Down Tilt Bair kill confirms at ledge. Her movement stats feel very tuned around Bair's hitbox. If you're not as comfortable with her movement, Cloud is a perfectly fine substitute)
Other normals:
Jab - Little Mac (frame 1, and more reliable than ZSS')
Dash Attack - Snake (Why is it invincible?)
Specials:
N - Mii Gunner's Mortar (This thing is obscene, the only thing keeping it in check is Mii Gunner's god awful movement. Let's fix that)
S - Incineroar (They tried shielding? In mid range? Lol. Lmao, even. This gives you a reliable kill button if for some reason none of the confirms are working)
U - Game and Watch.
D - Sheik (Recovery, most likely kill confirms off a lot of previous tools)
Grab+Throws:
Grab - Samus (Tethers are better than ever in Ultimate, and you force shield a lot in its effective range. Plus, this bundles in the best Zair in the game for even more mid-range harassment and recovery utility. Probably confirms into Bouncing Fish too)
U - Mewtwo (Strongest up throw besides Incineroar, but the increased base KB means you can use it to set up juggles earlier than the cat's)
F - Jigglypuff (Post patch, the angle this sends at is disgusting. Sets up into Fair pretty easily, and hard reading their jump into Bouncing Fish probably kills them at absurd percents)
D - Snake (At the point where Snake can guarantee up tilt, Samus can guarantee down tilt. And it will absolutely kill by then. Until then, Grab, Ftilt, Side B, Down Smash, and Dair all cover multiple options well, and lead to goid reward or even a stock)
B - Ness.
Up Taunt: Snake (I almost forgot to give Samus a second projectile, and somehow Puff Forward throw just feels like it puts them in just the right place that a box will force a high recovery)
Final report: This character thrives in neutral and advantage, with a lot of big hitboxes and ways to either confirm kills or just kill outright.
That's so lame lol
Yall HAVE to do this again!!!
The real most broken character would have Mythra's movement, Steve's jab and blocks, Kazuya's EWGF, Sonic's spin dash, Palutena's nair, G&W up-b, and Cloud back-air.
drag down to ko punch is DIRTY
drag down to rest is equally dirty
14:23 it look like inkling became a yelly after that rest
i think the Neutral Bs were kinda a throw away, there ain’t Bad but stuff like Charge shot or Zeldas is way better
Yeah there is definitely much better stuff but due to limitations I picked pyra..
Would have loved to have sonic first 😊
@@vyq6014 Oh yes that would’ve been cheesy
I would love to see you guys fight with two viewer made custom characters
I like the addition of commentary
This is officially the most cursed video cover they've ever done.
I think KO punch in this is OP, it should be one of those mechanics where you have to use little mac base model to use it. I don't see how giving your custom character KO punch is any less fair than giving custom character Lucario's Aura.
since it's only on neutral b, and he has to bring macs neutral b with it
Wow the format of this video was great
Should have went with meta knight up-b, would have been better for the same purpose
I think VyQ made the better overall character, but I think both are sleeping on how good incineroar's down tilt is. It combos forever, and on an actual fast character it would be insane. Running in, poking with down tilt and then following up with a pyra forward or up air.
I’m disappointed that neither went for thrust uppercut, neither went for fox up-smash, and neither went for ZSS movement.
Okay so possibly dumb question but what's the song at 14:07?
The hero Oomph and pshych up are such good buffs to a custom moveset. Like pyra with oomph is a monster. Imagine if you can get monado buster + oomph + psych up?
Definitely do this again
What if you created a character, using frame data, that is specifically curated to have the easiest-to-perform, most consistent zero-to-death combo possible?
You should try replacing the Link Up-B with Sora's, it feels a lot stronger
if you used Marth as a base, would your moves have tippers?
if you used Robin as a base, would your moves have levin sword's killpower?
if you used joker as a base, would you get arsene power on all your custom moves?
so many questions
Nice abominations
Y'all should experiment with the Tanooki Leaf in a video. It gives every character Peach's float cancels!
me putting all of the kazuya moves: 🔥🔥💯🗣️🗣️
If you can't have Lucario's aura, K.O. Punch feels like the same thing, right?
Lucarios aura is more of a passive thing, KO punch is tied to mac neutral b, so he got both
Game & Watch and Ivysaur’s Up Bs exist.
C5: I think I’ll choose Link’s.
i see that Into the AM shirt, i love that brand
With mods you get to see how truly privileged your main is
Also that thumbnail is so cursed 😟
Do more of these custom character videos plz!
One of the best up+b moves you could have chosen is Byleth's.
Can someone make a smash ultimate randomizer please? I click random and its a random base character with every move random
