Hello Charles. James here, my first Comment. I have e-mailed you todayregarding certain matters.. I am a new supporter and get pleasure out of your tutorial paiting video`s.. I have become an avid viewer. Regards James.
Ben following your channel for a few weeks after getting back into my painting after 40 + yrs, i find your channel not only informative but also done with humour. The question I'm asking what is the pallette your using ?
If you were in the Australian bush after a fire what you would be seeing is your picture as at 30:03. The bare burned trees and remnants of trees growing through regenerating grass
Hi Charles I love acrylic paints..would like to see some more of your paintings in acrylic please, are you going to be doing any new Tatorials working just with acrylic s that would be fab! Thanks Jane 👍
Amazing detail depth in this painting Charles, enjoyable video as always which is calmly explained how you've achieved shadows and shades. Thanks greatly appreciated stay safe and keep inspiring others in your naturally talented way.
Thank you Charles Evans! You have made me enjoy and appreciate acrylics for the first time. I love watching you paint. And thanks to Gail too. With admiration. Sarah Burns.😊
Hello Charles, I started painting in lock down and thoroughly enjoyed it. Im obviously a complete novice but my family liked them. I was diagnosed with throat cancer last July and since my treatment I’ve stopped painting my heart wasn’t in it but I came across your videos and was absolutely inspired, your so good at demonstrating in a way that is understandable and entertaining, it makes me feel like I can have another stab at it. So thank you so much for that. Kind regards Debbie
Ah! How do you turn a photograph you've taken into a piece of paper? I don't have a smartphone, just a tablet, and l took it out one day and took a close up photo of some daffodils that I'd like to try to paint. Can you just go to somewhere like Boots and plug your tablet in to their machine and get an A4 size print out of the picture you want? I don't want to look foolish in the shop, but often wondered is this possible, or is it just for small photos?
Hi Charles, just wanted to say that I am a huge fan. I recently started painting and I dont know what I would have done if I hadnt found you. I have all your books and I watch all your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
@@charlesevans7706 Hi Charles, No I am not yet. But I will make my account. I want to show you a few paintings I have done following your classes. Should I send them to you via emial? I bought a lot of other books too, but I end up using your palette and method for painting😀 I cant tell you how simplified and effective your techniques are. I now feel so confident that I can paint anything using your techniques and make it look beautiful😊😊
Once again, a superb acrylic tutorial filled with oodles of really useful information! Thank you Charles..greatly appreciated that you post your work on UA-cam. Best wishes..David in the UK.
you are absolutely amazing. I just bought your book and already read half of it the day it arrived. I will read the other half later tonight. You don't know how long I've been waiting for someone like you who can teach and make it so simple. Ive been painting at my late age now for 1yr and 6 months now. I like the use of acrylics because you can either do water color or make it look like oils. I don't like oils because of the fumes. I will watch for you on You Tube. I will try some of your painting from both the book and You Tube, however I will try some of my own photos using your techniques. Thank You. Hope you keep on teaching. You are an inspiration for me to keep going. I almost gave up. Jazz
Brilliant tutorial Charles, beautiful painting at the end, I love how you start from scratch showing us your drawing , a lot of artist already have the drawing in place,. Thanks for all you do much appreciated, I have a couple of your books now absolutely brilliant,. Stay safe,. 😘👏😘👏

Thank you and Gall for dedication and efort. Love your art and way of teaching. Sorry for my enghish. I am trying to paint in acrilics after oil and i find it very difficult. Promis to watch all your lesson over and over again. So keep teaching and sharing cause we need generous souls like yours. Keep safe and love your art.
Very nice! The tree shadows, the ones on the big tree in particular, add so much to the sunlight effect. And that Naples yellow! Thanks for taking so much time sending this one up. Also a tip of the hat to the camera lady.
omg the sound of the pencil on the canvas. just wondering you make you're acrylics so thin with water it looks like waterpainting does the pigments stay on the canvas for a long time?
having watched this video, I ordered the complete range of system 3 paints from your website and i must say i was impressed from the speed of me recieving them to the quality of the paint itself, big thanks charles
just as I was thinking that the leaves on the trees on the right looked too light ,you added more dark color - guess I’m getting to read you pretty well Charles - this is beautiful ,!
Glad you changed the name from watercolour to acrylics, it had me confused but as I am from Hartlepool lots of things confuse me, things like ships and monkeys.
