That what I like about keefer review he puts 30hrs and not a 4 hours and reading off the changes for his reviews .
First thing I take off is those stupid frame guards. They seem like a wonderful idea. Until you don’t take them off every time you wash the bike. Then they grind the orange right off the frame. Ditch those suckers stat and get some grip tape to cover the frame up. Actually saves the frame.
Love the AIM and throttle tube. Thanks for the inside info!
I work in auto performance/ racing world and we use a ton of AIM products. Glad to see them get into the motocross industry! I'm sure they will do amazing things!

is that chain slack measurement taken from just behind the chain slider (on the aluminum swingarm), or from on top of chain slider?
At the end of the chain slider on top..

Interesting on the chain slack. I downloaded the 23 450 SXF owner's manual from KTM and it says 61mm.
86 hrs on my 17 and 75 on my 21 350 and my cables work like they're brand new still 🙄

Lol. Sometimes I wonder about these guys maintenance intervals. I mean honestly. If you don’t treat the bike like a throw away there’s no reason to be replacing stuff as fast as they do unless your racing at a pro level and holding shit wide open most the time. Even then the intervals are all spaced to lean on the safe side. Lawsuits can be a bitch though. So there’s that too 😂.

Does anyone else remember when .44’s used to be stiff as fuck for forks lmao. Stuff is gettin sprung so stiff now days but I honestly prefer that over aggressive calving. Just an interesting trend.
Throttle cables last way longer the 20 hours if you keep them lubed 😅

Not even going to buy a bike that expensive let alone put more money into it LMFAO. This ones for the stuck up rich kids, daddys to buy for them. Maybe you'd have more riders partaking in your sport if you didnt make the bikes cost 3/4 of a normal persons yearly salary! Had to give it up when i was 17 and didnt have my 2 jobs, my moms 2 jobs and my dads job to go racing locally on the weekends. As an adult i dont even have the spare change to buy and race a 1988 cr250 let alone a new bike.
Stuck up rich kids? I grew up riding my buddies old bikes I would buy when they got their new ones. Never had a fresh gear set, now I’m an adult and make extra money and this ktm is great and very stable safe feeling for me racing the 30+ vet class as a now 30 year old. Maybe you don’t quite understand what you thought you did. Just because you don’t want to buy something doesn’t mean everyone else who buys them is stuck up it rich or dumb.
