350’s are awesome and so underrated. Earlier this year I changed from a 450 back to the 350, best decision ever. My riding improved instantly. This thing sounds even better!
This video was a life saver. Vet rider here at 41 years old and I've been pulling my hair out between the 250 and 450. Definitely buying one of these in the next couple of weeks. You the man Kris!
You said everything I’ve been saying about my 19 350 for years! More fun, less fatigue, more fun! Plus, Ive ripped so many holeshots on it against 450s! Cannot wait to get that 23!
I love my Yamaha 450 but not enough to circumvent the frustration of the fatigue after *trying* to ride it hard. Thought about going 250f but am going to give this bike a try. Thanks Keefer!
I had a ‘14 350EXCF that I set up for enduro & it was my favorite bike to date. The 350 is the perfect engine for the woods. & especially for a vet like me! Next I’m looking for a 350XCF or XCW. These bikes are soooo fun! I’d love to ride that SXF. I bet that would be fun to setup as a woods bike too.
Future here, how’s the 23’ 350 engines holding up? Any issues and what’s considered high hours before talks of top-ends? Always concerned with newer engines.
Jay Clark posted a video 6 days ago where he talks about the new 2023 350s transmisson gear ratios. Maybe some of the torque you are talking about comes from that. This is his video: '2023 KTM 350SX-F/350XC-F Transmission Ratios differences'.
After 4 seasons on a Husky 350, at age 48, I just bought a 2022 KX450. My first 450....hope I don't die. Biggest thing my 2018 Husky 350 was missing was roll on grunt. If not for that, and sometimes unpredictable handling, it would have been near perfect.
I really think "feels 10lbs lighter" is an understatement. I'm a 230lb former D1 RB with a 400 bench and 600+ squat. Point being, I'm still very strong and even still the 350 feels MUCH lighter than my 450 in motion. Example, if you ride a KX450 and 450 SXF back you back, they feel different but the KTM doesnt stand out as way lighter. But it is about 10lbs lighter than the KX. Now do the same with a 350. It stands out dramatically. Its really hard to explain if you have not ridden one but I just think the 10lbs is an understatement
I’m 260 almost pro bodybuilder always had 450 love my wheelies and big jumps on track I just do the jumps come Off track haha can you still wheelie these things easy the 250s are not that fun for wheelies but fun on track
I agree, i got a gasgas 450 thinking 10lbs lighter its going to be awesome, i rode a kx450 and it felt like the one 10lbs lighter..gasgas too much like a tractor, slow revving.. i went out and bought a KX the next day. def want to try a 350
@KW Parrish...I weigh the same at 230lbs (former powerlifter so almost identical stats! LOL) and have a KTM SX-F 350 arriving any day now. Question...are you able to use the stock suspension at this weight or did you need aftermarket springs and such?
Depends on what you do...but if MX than the 350. If half and half...then 350...if offroad single track only...then 300. I;ve owned both and prefer the 350. Its smoother, easier to ride and has better stability.
I’m here 200-205lbs year round, what do y’all think? I’ve only ever ridden a KX 250 (2 stroke) and looking to finally upgrade my dinosaur to a 4 stroke ! Opinions ?
The 350 is a Woke mx bike with its own pronoun, if your old or can’t ride, buy a 350, if you want a real bike then just buy a 250 or 300 two stroke or a 450 four stroke.

Are a majority of MX bike buyers sub 165lbs still? It boogles my mind that manufacturers are still springing the bikes for 15 year old kid weight.
Amen

Always been fascinated with the 350 and its long run its had. Finally just caved and bought one. Cant wait to pick it up
Keefer your the truth. Love your tested with keefer podcasts. I’ve learned so much about bikes
Agree, best in the game
I've been saying for years. If Yamaha made a yz350f. It would be the best bike ever..
Itd still ride like a quad tho
if yamaha made a 350 it would be the second best bike ever, because they don't know how to to it and KTM has learn it for so long now !

Love my 350. Loved it even more when I went up a tooth in the back and added a couple of grams of clutch weights. Really made it betterer.
After switching to a 350 in 2018 I could never imagine riding a 450 again. Easier to ride and actually got faster with less arm pump
I bought a KTM 350 a few years back after riding all of the new KTMs on ride day when they brought all of their bikes, best blke I rode.
I've got a 2022 and without a doubt it is unquestionably the best motocross bike I have ever ridden.

Always concerned with newer engines.
but which 350 is the best keefer? can you do a shoot out between the three this year?
The ad for Anti Gravity batteries. I bought one, great purchase. And,,, they are made in USA.
What's the standard rear sprocket size you said 52? Is it not 51?
Think this is the bike forsure!!!

Awesome info! I have a 2023 KTM 350 SXF. Thank you for sharing.
Big decision between this or a fc 350?

You'll be back to a 350. I did the same thing myself. Just put a deposit on a 23 350 lol.
@@KWParrish 6.5 hours on the kx450 and I am already more comfortable on it than I ever was in 160 hours on the 350.
@@KWParrish ...and don't get me wrong I REALLY loved my 350, so that is saying a LOT.
Felt the same ,when you struggle with roll on speed in corners ,went brought yz450 ,felt way better straight away
Great video
Great report
Love the part about pissing off the 450 folk lol

Ummm what does a vet choose now? The 350 or the new EFI 300 SX? I'm choosing the 300.

Me too. That 300 looks sick. I’m used to riding the 2t bikes off road, so it’d be an easy transition.
Yamaha 350 would be awesome 👏🏁
I wish Yamaha understood this lol
Great job , Best bikes and best track in 🇺🇸 USA
thank you chief keef

Yes do it. I just switched from 250 two stroke to a 350 and it’s changed my life
RED BUUUUD!!!!!
The dirt, OMG..
so much better than so cal
Lol I won the Kicker arenacross 30+ championship on a 250f. A 350f might make it too easy.
FFS mate, stewart did Larocco's leap on a 125
Sadly most of us aren't that capable! 😜
Larocco did it on a roach of a kx 125
$10,500
Ripping
One tooth in the rear.... the magical fix :)
people are listening to someone who cheated and admitted it? hard pass.
