- Some US media outlets have been criticised for their coverage of Israel's devastating military offensive in Gaza, including legacy brands like the Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, and The New York Times. According to The Intercept, top editors at The Times told journalists to limit the use of terms like "genocide" and "ethnic cleansing" and avoid using the term "occupied territory". We spoke to The Intercept's Jeremy Scahill to find out more.

Biggest example is Mehdi Hasan. One of the most fiercest critic of Israel had his show taken off air by MSNBC.
Zeteo Media is his new program which is just fantastic
Hasan was pulled out of MSNBC because he was rude, constantly interrupting and cutting interviews. Hasan created an impression he wanted to be the center of every interview, not people he interviewed.

I had mixed feelings about that given his support for smearing the twitter files and a real journalist like Matt Taibbi.

"Accused" gives their report the ambiguity needed to prevent them from being open to a lawsuit
I'm pleasantly surprised that this is being covered on France24. I guess this is their one segment where they try to uphold the facade of objectivity before returning to regularly scheduled propaganda.

Just about every. Any news outlet that reports a little more than an article in several years that is critical of Israeli behavior is declared by the rest of the media as anti Semitic and then so financially crippled that it can't continue to exist. This is the tactic that the Jewish establishment has used since the Ford boycott where the Ford Foundation ended up in the hands of people from that establishment. It's sad how Americans have become terrorized into being blind to the enormous power of a community that encompasses 2 percent of the population. Even the 1-2 cabinet members who dared to note that in interviews have been chased out of office.

He should have also mentioned the false article about the massif rape written by an inexperienced former Israeli IDF journalist and which was subsequently debunked. The New York Times never took the time to apologize. Journalist Max Blumenthal did a great job revealing this.

It is a long known issue with the New York Times, they have a history of picking a side in a fight that aligns with Democratic Party and will use phrases that influence readers in a very obvious way. It is a shame because nyt is one of the premier US newspapers with a comparatively large staff & budget but they are very pro Israel, just like they were very pro IRA back in the day during worst of the troubles. American news, both tv and papers are exceptionally opinionated on both sides. It is a problem in the west in general, but as usual, the issue is most serious in US.

Your point about escalation is hard to argue. On the other hand, the coordinated response by Iran and the Houthis seems to provide strong evidence that the Houthis have been working at the direction of Iran.

I agree with @@Maliceless100. Every source has bias because every human has bias. F24 is one of the only outlets willing to provide fair coverage to both sides of an issue. They aren't perfect, but they're far better than most.

Did you not watch the report? It's not an accusation, it's a leaked internal NYT memo instructing reporters to use or not use certain speech in their reporting. It's pretty explicit.
