The "palm swell" is really the best re-think of the idea of grip fit I've heard in a long time. Everybody's hand is different and this ability to custom fit the pistol to your hand is just good thinking.

My advice try them all. A few things that influenced my pick. Length of pull - Control reach without breaking firing grip -Drawstroke especially from concealed. I found the Medium Large to be the perfect fit. Helped get a better grip especially while rushing. Helped with length of pull and still allowed me to reach all controls. I’m 6ft 3 and have longer hands but not super wide. Hope this helps!!

A good step forward. Something we learned and then forgot about with revolvers. Variety of grip options is a good thing and layering over the back strap a couple of times over does not work for everyone all the time.

Yes! 👌 great video. That's what I was doing with the S&W M&P9 M2.0 Metal that I just bought Saturday. Was testing and finding the correct palm swell for me.

small through medium large feel good to me, i can never decide. Medium large has the right length of pull but medium keeps my hand from slipping. Its easy to overthink stuff. 🙃

Lol!!! I've been in it for an hour now! Dry fire!!! Been using the large but! Now the medium large!!! Hell I can't wait to get to the range and figure it out!!! But oh yeah!!! We are in the middle of a communist takeover! And ammo is kinds precious!!!

What's really funny is that the M&P 2.0 no long comes with the "small" palm swell when I checked/inquired through S&W's customer service back in July, not that I needed it.

Mine came with one. Just purchased it last month (Feb 2022).

Try calling M&P customer service; they gave me extra palm swells free when I requested it.

I have the m&p 2.0 full size 9mm 5in. Barrel. My hands are on the smaller side so when I first got it I used the small palmswell.. small and medium always felt really good but when I put on the medium large it felt like a perfect fit.. I never figured being my hands are on the smaller size that the medium large would be the one that I like the best.. small and medium always felt great in my hand but after really evaluating I've come to really love the medium large even with my smaller hands don't know why it just feels really good. Thanks for the video as there are not many of them like this on UA-cam regarding the Palm swells.

With medium hands I use the biggest one. Weak hand gets more real estate to grip on for recoil control.

thats helpful,,,if you own an M&P. None of my guns have interchangeable backstraps, and i'm fine with that. not planning on buying any new guns anytime soon, but thanks anyways Smith&wesson!

Says guy who runs into unused conditioned police trade in Sig P226 for $300 with free shipping, three additional mags, your choice of holster, two free boxes of practice and self defense ammo, and last but not least a free lap dance at Scores strip club (don’t tell the wife). 🤣🤣🤣

You really have to shoot them to determine which is best. I thought the bigger ones felt way better to me, until I went to the range and shot the Medium size waaaay better than the larger sizes.

Mine didn't come with any palm swells. My hands are too big for my gun. How do I change the palm swell?

Buy a kit online super cheap :) comes with all of them in a pack. Remove grip plug by twisting and pulling out pull existing palm swell out and replace with desired size.

This meant absolutely nothing. They never addressed the position of the middle of the index finger to the trigger. The backstraps should allow a right angle of the index finger to the trigger.

I’ve decided I don’t like any of them. I prefer it off. I have the 9c. I like my Glock 29 grip even though it’s ‘fat’ but I just like my 9c without the back on it at all..
