I ruined the day. It burns my eyes. I read that it is a characteristic of some eyes that they suddenly light up. Ever since I admired Sigourney. And didn't I notice the narrowing of her eyes until now? Shines as they say: the sun shines through the clouds. I have loved the sun ever since. Made peace with the day. This was also given by Sigourney's mysterious power. Eternal May and June. Sigourney is blooming spring and summer.
Does anyone know when this interview happened in 1989? Sigourney says at 5:32 she would most like a baby for Christmas. Her daughter was born in April 1990. Maybe she was already pregnant and hinting at letting the cat out of the bag during this interview.
I ❤ her "Theatrical" philosophy on roles. I relate. As a Theater actor, it's PERFECTLY legitimate to do small roles, then leading roles, and flip back and forth. I remember I played ensemble in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum & Man of La Mancha then Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night. The MC in Cabaret, followed by Bruce in Beyond Therapy and then a Jet/Ensemble member in West Side Story. Followed by Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Peter van Daan in the Diary of Anne Frank & Prince Chulalongkorn in The King & I. Jack in Into The Woods, Sidney in California Suite ("The Visitors from London") and then Sir Evelyn Oakleigh in Anything Goes. That was just high school. That's how the Theater is though. Film is a different animal, but most actors do both.
Susan Alexandra Weaver (Manhattan, Nueva York, 8 de octubre de 1949), más conocida como Sigourney Weaver, es una actriz y productora estadounidense de cine, televisión y teatro.
I met Sigourney during the press tour for the second Avatar movie and she is nothing like the Katharine character. In person, she's remarkably considerate, kind and patient tho a bit on the serious side, but she's quick to laugh at herself. Still she's nothing like Katharine which shows how good she was playing this B---h of a boss. She should have won the Oscar that year for supporting actress (lost in an upset to Geena Davis "Accidental Tourist"). Decades later people still talking about her performance here while Geena goes unnoticed
She was a bit intrusive in this interview huh. Pretty uncomfortable topics, she is usually pretty nice. Weaver is just so good at making people comfortable you can’t read if she is uncomfortable or not.
I swear to Jesus...Sigourney seems like the most pleasant, sweetest and adorable woman I've ever listened to. I could listen to her talk all day long
Perfect beauty.... my lifetime crush....
I’m lucky to look like her 😊
Great outfit!
Sigourney Weaver is Magnificent.
She should have won an Oscar by now.
Unfair Hollywood.
Bobbie is Wonderful.
I love this interview. Sigourney Weaver is a wonderful actress.
her voice!
Sigourney Weaver brillante talentosa única.
Powerful beauty and intelligence
So beautiful ❤
She is So cute when she says " a baby "
& the next year she had one
The perfect woman
Actual dream girl still to date..... Nothing like her....
Kind of nice to see an intelligent interview about acting rather than social gotchas and gossip.
When stars with humility still existed and women were more dignified and sophisticated
Dame!
The more decade passed I've seen her more confidence in the case of interview handling. (from 1979 to till now)

The greatest supporting actress performance to not win the best supporting actress Oscar!
Ela é bem elegante, e tem uma voz incrível.

Catherine’s character was a female version of Jack Trainers character.
I found Catherine’s character as the most attractive.😍

Working Girl & Gorillas 🦍 in the Mist 🎉both incredible late 80s 🎥
I had a boss like Katherine😅(not fun) lol Bobbie called her snooty!
mmmmm
Fart at 2;57?
She may have been considered new money comparative to her peers in school but she certainly has good breeding. For whatever that is worth.
