Nice video. Was curious on if you installed the start stop button or if it came stock. I have a 2012 VW GTI and it doesn’t have push to start while yours is a 2011
Nice video man. How is itgoing now after 2 months of driving, any error codes?. Got a GTI MK5 here in Australia and alredy got Integrated engineering cold air intake and now thinking of buying catted downpipe as I heard the catless one smells a lot
Is your car the usdm or the wm model? Because i have the usdm model , and just got my Cobb Accessport and when installing there was no stage 2 , only stage one maps.
Did you buy it new or used? Just wondering cause I’ve never bought one for a car before and I want to do the best cheapest option but I want it to be right also
Adrenaline Junkie I agree and disagree. The clutch just can’t handle the torque. I never launched it and just hand fun on twisty roads and on ramps. Even from a stop light to get it going out of first or second keep it under 2700 rpms or it takes off. It was great but I don’t want to buy a new clutch for this car right now so I was curious in the accessport.
Andrew Well it is recommended to upgrade the clutch anytime you tune your GTI. You're just gonna burn through a stock clutch since it won't be able to handle the torque. As for DSG, you don't HAVE to tune the DSG, but it's highly recommended. Makes a difference
@@EQTsaus Not really true. Dsg can handle the torwue until you go beyond stage 2. If its a concern apr offers low torque options for any of their tunes.

Once my stratified tune comes next week I’ll do an update video on how it drives vs the ots cobb map if any of you guys are interested!
Don’t you have to do a custom tune because cob doesn’t offer a map for a catless down pipe ???
Chris K the stage 2 map from cobb is for the downpipe
Derrick Johnson thx man
Good video bro. Looking forward to the stratified tune!
Thanks! Ill do an update comparison once they email the tune back
Need to pull the trigger on one of these. I actually have the Cobb drop in air filter already so I could go stg 1. Congrats!
Do it! It’s worth it. Id recommend just going straight to stage 2 with a downpipe

Mine is an autobahn. They came with push start

It’s a little smelly but not too bad. Im very happy!
Good shit man!
Thanks!
Nice bro. Gonna be buying me a 2012 gti neck week
Great purchase. Make sure it’s had the timing chain tensioner issue fixed already. If not it’s gonna cost you a bit of change to get addressed
Goldsboro lol I know that street. I have a mk6 gti golf
YUUURRRRR
So man I have a 2013 gti dsg with a cts cold air intake . Would I just be able to go stage 1
And send it or do I need that Cobb drop in filter?
Yesssssssir 🔥🔥

They’re a lot of fun man

My bad commented to early and realized u said u bought it used 😅😂
Yes used 🤣🤣🤣
Where and which access port did u get because we have the same car and I thought you had to get a certain dsg one
Nah bro any mk6 gti cobb ap will work. Sorry for the late reply!
sick video🤘 got me wanting one now
DO IT
does the cobb accessport come with the basic cobb tunes out of the box? or do i have to pay more for them
They come with em
So could I buy a 2nd hand one ifs it from the same car I have
Yes as long as it isn’t married to the other persons car
Hey I have a stock mk6 manual would I need an upgraded clutch to tune it for stage1?
Nope
Hey bro do you have exhaust??
After the downpipe it’s the stock exhaust modified
Is the cobbs accessport worth 675$?
Find one used
What supporting mods do you have?
Intake,downpipe, tune
@@derrickjohnson12341 what type of Intake?
Bsh. Got it used for 100$
Would this turn off my engine light with my catted down pipe?
If you have a check engine light on because of an aftermarket downpipe then yes this will help.
Anyone put this on a manual and know how quick it smokes the clutch like my apr tune did on my old gti? I wasn’t driving like a dick.
Depends on how you drive. Plan for an upgrade eventually
An APR tune wont smoke your clutch, that was all you. lol

Is it better than apr or unitronic?
Id say so
Mk6 has dsg tune?
Not yet
