    Dear All Access Football: Please lower the volume of your intro/outro jingle. Those of us who wear headphones will go deaf.

    The problem is Gil Brandt timed him an not a electronic equipment. A human timing a 40 usually is 0.12 to 0.18 faster than electronic times.

      He still ran the fastest 40 ever

    • @sydboski
      @sydboski 4 роки тому +1

      @A Rebel With A Cause How a bout NO. Bo ran in 1986 the NFL used hand timing exclusively til 1998. They switched to semi automatic timing in 1999. Pro Days are still hand timed. that is why they are not official.

      @@John-ub6gr Sorry but no he didn't.

      @patrio3 That is correct. But it is not electronic times. It is Semi Automatic times. Electronic is just the way the time is displayed on a time clock or scoreboard. Hand time, semi auto and fully auto timing can be displayed electronically.

      @A Rebel With A Cause He did not say Bo ran the fastest time ever recorded. You really should listen to what is being said. He said Bo ran the fastest time that HE ever recorded. Big difference. You can believe whomever you wan't. I am just telling the truth.

    Bo did not stutter, it was just the "doppler effect".

      He didn’t always stutter but when he did woah it was bad. A lot of people have never seen his stutter & won’t know WTF Gil Brandt is talking about but he did and I saw it a couple of times.

    Hayes does not have a documented 40 time just like Bo does not have a documented 40 time.

    • @skybarwisdom
      @skybarwisdom 6 місяців тому +1

      But Bob Hayes did have a 5.9 second 60-yard dash time and a 6.9 second 70-yard dash time which would have been equivalent to what in the 40-yard dash?

    • @sydboski
      @sydboski 6 місяців тому

      @@skybarwisdom There is no direct way to get an accurate 40 time from any other race. You cannot estimate acceleration in any linear way because everyone accelerates differently. Plus Bob's 5.9 and 6.9 are hand timed and subject to human error.

    • @skybarwisdom
      @skybarwisdom 6 місяців тому

      @@sydboski Watch Bob Hayes acceleration in the 100-meter dash and 400-meter relay in the 1964 Olympics for an approximation of speed. Also, Bobby stated that he was even faster while playing receiver for the Cowboys at a few years older.

      They were videotaping these things back then. Don’t know why there’s no record of it

    • @sydboski
      @sydboski 4 місяці тому

      @@skybarwisdom Bob can say anything he wants. Once you stop training to sprint, you do not get any faster. Another word for approximation is guess. It wouldn't be accurate.

    I ran a 4:2 in high school in a 40.
    I should have pursued my football passion.
    Oh well I’m to old now but the path I took owning JB Heating-Air & Refrigeration.
