He never got a SB ring, but he was/is a champion of the working class nonetheless and there was NO one as exciting to watch as him. If you watch Barry Sanders NFL run highlights, You'll notice he never broke some very long runs like Bo Jackson did. Barry was VERY quick but a lot of defensive backs could catch him from behind on a long run. Bo Jackson got caught from behind less times than you have fingers on your right hand. The famous 88yrd run where Bo Jackson got caught on the 1yrd line by Kansas city corner back Rod Jones was the rare exception. If you watch that run, Bo had cut back all the way across the field before breaking it open, So Bo probably ran more than 100 actual yards on that play. Bo said his "tank was on empty", he was exhausted at the 20yrd line and it's easy to believe it. Also remember Rod Jones was all American track star in college and had won national titles in track. All 3 listed in this video's title were once in a life time incredible athletes that we were very luck to see play. I wish we had gotten to see more of Bo Jackson play football.

My choice would be Deion Sanders. The guy could play so many positions and be great at any of them. He could run the ball. He could be an excellent receiver. He could play Tight End and he was a great defensive player. I never liked his personality, but he was a great player in his day.

Jackson had power at the plate but he was never a great hitter. He ran terrible routes in the outfield usually. He never played in an instructional league and didn't play long enough in the minors to learn the things that make someone a great player

Deion was great but Bo was the better.
My choice would be Deion Sanders. The guy could play so many positions and be great at any of them. He could run the ball. He could be an excellent receiver. He could play Tight End and he was a great defensive player. I never liked his personality, but he was a great player in his day.

Barry Sanders is the best RB I ever saw. Been waiting for a likeness, that’s not yet happened.
Barry was fast, he would make dbs with a head start look like they were standing still. But bo did it with an extra 30-40 pounds on him. I still think barry was the best rb to do it, but bo is the better athlete. He is a freak. They (His baseball peers and coaches) said, his baseball skill was PURE instinct and athleticism. If he had devoted himself to baseball and learned the nuances of the game, he would have been the next micky mantle.
All that being said, the coolest moment in sports history is deon showing up to the nfl combine in a limo, wearing a fur coat, walked on the field, handed someone his coat and shades, went right to the line w no warm ups, ran a 4.2, got his shades and coat, and got back in the limo and left. 😎
Bo Jackson is clearly the best athlete of modern times. The man was legit track, mlb nfl stud. When he played baseball he was both the fastest AND strongest man in baseball. If I could have anyone’s body it’d be Bo Jackson. No one else is even close.

Well since Dion never tackled anyone or got tackled. I’d say Barry was the superior athlete. Besides speed his moves were extraordinary. Shame he never played for a championship team. Might have played longer

Barry Sanders was a Raiders fan and wanted to, and almost came out of retirement to play for them. He did say that if he did, he would only do it to play for the Raiders. Ah well, we had to settle for Marcus Allen, then Bo Jackson.. sigh

It's so funny. He's so small and unassuming. If the average person saw Barry Sanders on the street today, they would have doubts that Barry even played at the college level. Best rb of all time in my opinion.

Jackson put up good numbers in both sports.Sanders was a below average baseball player.
Look at Bo's numbers again.
Jackson had power at the plate but he was never a great hitter. He ran terrible routes in the outfield usually. He never played in an instructional league and didn't play long enough in the minors to learn the things that make someone a great player
