My son recently served in Afghanistan for a year with The USMC, the British soldiers were absolutely fantastic t work with.125% there for each other US and great Britton. thank God for both of our countries Military God Bless each and every one of them.

i was in Afghanistan about 2 weeks ago freed of POW, was alpha2zero, Joint Task Force 2 (JTF2) M.O.S infantry sniper thank you for serving with the coalition forces.
I have no relatives in the armed forces but, i still feel for them. It is heart wrenching to see the families of the fallen men and women of our armed forces going thtough the town of Wooten Bassett paying tribute to them. I salute them all.

thank you for fighting in WW2 you suffered so much I'm sorry I never understood as a child, & as a teenager n the 60's. You died at 52, 100% disabled because of that war., you never once complained, a true American hero to the end.
Impossible to watch without tears welling up - not sentimentalism, simply being faced with the realities of warzones far away, and many moments in the lives of our brave soldiers. I will remember all the fallen on Christmas day especially, and send blessings to all those still fighting under the UK flag. You are the best of us! With love. Laura
I was speaking of past experience. I have learned to live a life without remorse, anger, fear, and shame - shame of what I have done to survive. But that is in the past - I still have some issues with loud pops and bangs, but not like I use too. And yes there is help, but the help I got was from droping to my knees and having a long hard cry and talk with God! And for the record I did not have PTSD I had what they called surivor's Syndrom - but again that is all in the past now I live for today

PTSD doesn't have to be a debilitating affliction. I am a PTSD Survivor. I still have daymares, nightmares and images of horror but they do not dictate my life. I have learned to overcome and adapt. My heart goes out to all PTSD sufferers. There is help.

I would add, as an ex solider who has served his country, the irony is that those who have made the ultimate sacrifice do so in order to provide a freedom. for themselves and the ones they love. included in that freedom is the freedom of being an individual. which includes freedom of speech and thought. the men and women who are targeted by these haters are in fact fighting, and dying in some cases,for those rights. " don't ask for freedom of speech if you don't like what is going to be said."

I would add, as an ex solider who has served his country, the irony is that those who have made the ultimate sacrifice do so in order to provide a freedom. for themselves and the ones they love. included in that freedom is the freedom of being an individual. which includes freedom of speech and thought. the men and women who are targeted by these haters are in fact fighting, and dying in some cases,for those rights. " don't ask for freedom of speech if you don't like what is going to be said."
