FAQ:
Q: Why is the camera shaking around so much?
A: Speedmod significantly increases the air acceleration value from air strafing. Meaning I can gain speeds of about 90km/h from about 2 seconds of the rapid strafing you see in the video.
Q: What are all the cheats you use for this?
A: First of all, Speedmod comes with godmode, increased air acceleration, removed lurch and wall friction, cheated weapons in some levels, as well as load triggers to skip certain parts of the game. The TAS is done by using the "host_timescale" command to slow down the game, combined with quicksaves every so often. Later i edit it all, speed up the segments, stitch each of the segments of each level, fall into a deep spiral of reevaluating every single one of my life choices leading up to this very moment as i wait for the video to render, and finally upload & release the video you've just seen.
Q: How do you turn into a Northstar in ITA ch. 1?
A: Northstar's Flight Core is given as a weapon through console commands. Pilots can technically wield Titan weapons and cores with relatively no issue.
Q: Why do some of the levels end so abruptly and why are some sections skipped?
A: Speedmod has load triggers to skip cutscenes, autoscrollers, and titan sections since the main purpose of the mod is to enjoy and fool around with the insane air acceleration. The entirety of The Ark is also skipped because the level itself is very broken in the first place so the author Fzzy opted to skip it.

he maxed out at 250 or so kmh, it's 340m/s at sea level on earth.
i think it would be a cool tas to do a level in john wick mode, basicly just kill littraly all hostiles as fast as possable, would be crazy to watch, and fun too
it wouldn't be very interesting, just a bunch of aimbot snaps throughout the entire level, you wouldn't be able to make anything out
personally, id think it would be one hellva thing to witness

I doubt this will see a reply but, are the ledge grabs inefficient and just something you were to lazy to optimize or were they optimal, if so why.
mix of both, some of them were inevitable due to a variety of factors e.g. not having a double jump in the beginning of fold weapon, and for some of them i was just lazy :P

How do you skip the titan summon scene and the start of the game and what actually happened to every titan you have to fight(bosses and the first tian ingame)
It's an any% run so that means no cutscenes the only exception is the very first one
And yes the titan drop scene is considered a cutscene

@@tomasznazar66 speedmod skips any part of the game that isnt movement action using premade saves so that includes titan sections (except tbf), cutscenes, and autoscrollers

Hate to ask, but it wasn't in the FAQ: why does the sound cut out at certain points and just have that muted ringing? I initially thought it was something about the speed and how the game handles it, like a sound barrier or something- but it'd be great to know! :P
ah yeah that's my bad, when you're out of a loading screen you don't have full audio for about a second so that's why it cuts out, i'm exiting a load screen in the middle of the level. we have a setting that turns it off but i didn't know about it while making the tas. about the ringing, that's either my game or my recording software being stupid, still not sure what caused it at the time.

I find it hilarious when you go so fast the game gets confused and thinks you're in BT, giving you Titan weapons as a human.

yeah that's part of what speedmod is, normal air accel is 400 iirc, speedmod is 8000-9000
