Only took a year of my life... This is about close as I can get to a perfect time using glitches, but I couldn't have finished this without the help and support from these channels!
@AndrefPLKickstarted the whole project and developed the redstone machine that made all of this possible!

Seed was found by me with some speedup from Andre and Pancake, also pretty sure this seed can be used for RTA as well!
About Minecraft Tool-Assisted Speedruns: We don't have any emulators or playback tools at the moment. So what we do is that we play the game in slow motion, (In this case 1/20th of the game's speed) and then we speedup to normal speed (100%) and edit out all the pauses and save and quits. This can be thought of as a segmented run with close to perfect inputs. We also use savestates so we don't have to start all over from scratch. That's the basics!

I might be getting something wrong here, but isn’t it possible to find eggs in chests, or trade with villagers for them(I don’t think you can trade for them, but it’s just a thought). I’m not sure, since I don’t ever remember seeing an egg in a chest but maybe?

This is a cheated TAS run 0:32 it teleports to the top without using a ender pearl sooooo yeah
You know it's a good run when the main limitation is the lowest amount of time it takes for a chicken to lay an egg.

I thought "oh this must have something to do with the ender dragon egg" but it's a literal chicken egg lol
It's probably not but I thought I'd ask, is it legal in runs to have a LAN server running before you join the world to get the egg to drop whenever during the run? This could also work with other versions where they have to wait for phantoms, but I assume it wouldn't be allowed in any runs due to possible manipulation or something.
@@DeathClawz no it is not legal to do that in runs
@@DeathClawz That doesn't matter anyway, the reason it is pacelocked is because it takes 5 minutes for an egg to spawn (as chickens are only able to drop an egg every 5 minutes at the minimum), which is why he sets up the chunkloader at the very beginning of the run before he leaves the area.

@@Michikatsu69 the gameplay is played in 1/20 game speed then the video is sped up back to regular speed, because there are no regular frame by frame TAS tools

Imagine being a wither and getting summoned, and the first few seconds you just see a guy placing iron blocks at the speed of light, then him standing right next to you with a bow and arrow, then getting blasted to nothing in 5 seconds

Its because of the egg im pretty sure. Earliest spawn for one is 5 minutes into the run which makes beating this record nearly impossible.@@MudakTheMultiplier

Some things to explain:
The Redstone torch thing at the first portal was a chunk loader to keep the overworld loaded to so the chicken lays the egg as soon as possible
There is a dupe thing that allows you to dupe resources which allows you to get most.
I think he quit and rejoined to skip enfer pearl cool-down
He hopped in the Minecart and went through the gateway to get on a rail, since you technically moved over 1000 blocks in said rail.
He used end crystals to deal with the bosses fair enough.
He didn’t die in end to end crystals because you get brief invincibility when you rejoin the game.
He kept dying with the elytra to get adventuring time as soon possible and get home faster to reach all the biomes. That’s also why he used all the nether portals. There were also times when he threw pearls and flew in the opposite direction. This was to get back after entering the biome
He needed a zombie that can pick up items to drop an item to for the ‘diamonds to you’ achievements
i just imagine what this looks like from the perspective of the villagers

Watched this on 0.25x speed just to understand anything lol. Insane run, favourite part was putting rails on either side of an end gateway and going through them in a minecart to trick the game into thinking you went 1000 blocks for on a rail. Maybe not 1000 blocks by minecart, but it is 1000 IQ!
This deserves more views. One of the best TASes I've seen
I love how he randomly dies from crystals and I have no idea when he placed it because it's instant so I'm just like "oh... nice"
its so he can get the adventuring time achievement where u find every biome, and its faster to die and go back to a nether portal to get each one

Damn this speed runner TAS keeps getting better. He’s so good he makes it feel it’s scripted
Every day, I wake up and laugh at this very funny joke for 5 uninterrupted minutes. This is the proper response to hearing a joke as magnificent as this. I then set my phone down, and applaud your comedic triumph until my hands become red. Most dont have the cognitive ability to understand a joke as complex and fascinating as this, but with an IQ of 160, I am able to understand your excellent joke. It truly is a shame that the common folk on the street are incapable of understanding your otherworldly comedic stylings. When you said tas was a person for the 1000th time, it really made you stand out from the crowd. Truly a masterwork of comedy.

TASes have been around for like... almost two decades
@@RichConnerGMN but they're getting better, when they first showed up, they were pretty similar to simple macros and just allowed a run to be manipulated by getting the best possible outcomes of every segment and then combining it all and speeding up the inputs as much as possible
I love this tas, It is so much more emotional with the creo music in the background. 10/10 in everything for this video.

excluding the editing, the description mentions playing the game at 1/20 of the normal speed which means atleast 1.66 hours barely segmented were spent just to record this

It fills me with joy to see someone care so much about this category and this speedrun :). There is so much attention to detail and so many cool strats; I love how you milk the dying cow, how you manage to finally use an elytra in aa and how you actually make the pig fly. Truly incredible.

@@alt1763 ah, they were not. But the other one (which has twice the time) is only 1 Minecraft version ahead (1.12 instead of 1.11), so I doubt there would be a huge difference
@@brandonm17081.11 was the last version to have achievements, 1.12 all advancements is totally different because you have to kill every mob, breed every animal, eat every food, and a few other new things
I don't think they can cut the time any shorter anymore considering they had to wait 5 minutes for eggs to exist.
there is now a 1.21 all advancements tas and it's the most wild thing i've ever seen

if you think about it, this is all actually possible. its just the speed of placing blocks, a crazy sensitivity, and the speed organizing and crafting everything.

just happens when you save and quit while you are flying with a firework and rejoin because you stop moving but the firework keeps going so you get this weird side effect

It's just a rando fan idea (probably not new), but what if a TAS that excludes exiting/re-entering the world? It'd exclude duping and bypassing timers too easily. But otoh idk if that has negative side effects or if it even makes enough sense.
Edit: And also, sick tas! Definitely one of the sickest MC tases I've seen!
A TAS that excludes saving and quitting the world is basically the equivalent of a glitchless TAS in this case as the most meaningful glitches rely on this... I do have another seed that I could use but given how long this project took it could be a while before I work on this version again… Though if anyone wants my suggestions, route and seed, I will gladly support them!
@@Unease37 cuz I'm mainly a uhcer in minecraft, i keep thinking in terms of how things could be useful for uhc. So i was just thinking what a tas could do. Relogging is frowned upon, but I think most tricks are ok to do as long as it's not cheating. I guess it doesn't have to be a 100% tas to demonstrate things. If anything, a glitchless tas should be a short category

Can you explain the 1:37 cut and how the ender pearl reset at 1:58, why it says you have air at 2:07, the Mark Lukas pickaxe disappearance at 2:18, the cut at 2:23, the air thing again at 2:25, the lack of "Loading Terrain" screens, and other cuts?
Do you not understand what a TAS is?
TAS means tool assisted speedrun. This means the game was in slow motion, which is why all that happened.
Ender pearl reset was due to save and quit and was done intentionally... Air is what happens when you switch to an empty hotbar slot for 1 tick... The "dissappeance" was due to a glitch not rendering my offhand... Loading terrain was cut to improve viewability as its not important
