Great song. Was sad to have Greg leave us so soon. In the early 80's, we lived down the street from each other. He was just Greg and always had a wave and a smile if you passed him in his jeep. Sometimes, he would drop stop by a local place and jam. If you were there...you had a blast. Thanks Zac and Band for sharing.

Played LIVE, no auto tune, no studio, no dub, no heavy filtering, this is what made the great ones great, if it sounds good..it is because it IS good...some music gets to your soul, this song has been enjoyed for 40+ years....how many artists have tried to get it, this guy Zach (and of course Greg) got it right! LOL I will probably fade out as this song does its fade out...

+ronnie toots While I agree with you, the performance from everyone is amazing, especially Gregg Allman. I love both The Allman Brothers and just recently saw The Zac Brown Band live, BUT, you would be surprised at what units are in the signal chain for a major live show like this. I doubt there is an autotune, as I have heard Zac go flat a few times, but there are other effects. Compressors, limiters, reverb, etc... It can all colour the signal in some way or another. Either way, this is one BADASS performance!

You know what I love most about this video.....other than the fact that it combines two of the best musicians/bands of all time.....at minute 2:54....Zac Brown, THE ZAC BROWN, seems to get so lost in the fact that the great Gregg Allman is on the stage, that he needs to get queued by the guitarist to sing his part. Respect! Everyone looks up to someone! R.I.P..... Mr. Allman.

This song reminds me of my husband!! He passed away almost 11 months ago on October 3, 2014. He drove a rig for over 30 years and developed Silicosis from exposure to rock products. He the most wonderful man I've ever known. He will be forever missed by us all. Our children & grandchildren, who lovingly called him "BUMPA", we call him "the man, The myth, The legend". He was the biggest teddy bear!! Never raised his voice or laid a hand on me. He was 6'4" 250 lbs, looked mean, but under all that he was a pure softy. The day he passed was the worst day of my life, never could I imagine I would be a Widow at the age of 46. Our grandson's, ages 4 & 5 years old still ask when he is coming back. So heartbreaking!!! They save little treasures for him. Please keep us in your Prayers as we grieve such an amazing man, husband, father and grandfather!!

One thing that has always amazed me about many of the "older" rockers....you see them interviewed or walking on stage and they often sound so "out of it", sound weary, look frail and sometimes unsteady.....and you can tell rock and roll has taken its toll on them. But then they sit down at the piano/organ or pick up the guitar and "BAM!!!" it's like someone flipped a switch and all of a sudden you get the power, the genius, the great sound that they are known for. It's like they go "back in time" and they are young again.

no fooling...I had a friend who worked with Bob Hope once, near the end, said Hope was toast, really zombified and doddering, then the red light on the camera went on and my pal said Hope just transformed, BAM, all slick and sharp...not that Brother Gregg has anything at all to do with Hope, but you follow, I notice what you said, for sure

I think it's wonderful that Zac and the band listen to/play all genres of music (I also do), and this is just a great collaboration! Too bad music has to be seperated by words (R & B, rap, metal, classic). Good music is just....well, good music!

I always love it when newer bands do live covers and get the original singers. Foo Fighters have actually done this twice. Once with Rick Astley and once with Brian Johnson
