- 16 min fun version of Zac Brown Band Singing "Can't You See" at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, in Alpharetta Ga on May 8th, 2015. Zac and Clay Cook (Zac Brown Band) with solos from the band.
You did the Caldwell family justice with this. A proper tribute indeed.
I appreciate ZBB covering this great southern rock song. I was fortunate to see Marshall Tucker twice in the late 70s never gets old!
Love the way the ZBB always covers a few classis songs during their concerts! Such a talented group! The sweet sound of Jimmy D's fiddle always adds something a little special to each song!
The Caldwell brothers were good ‘ol boys that answered the call. Regardless what you think of the political reasons we were in Vietnam, they were heroes just like thousands they served with. Oh, I should probably mention they were also dang good artist/writers/musicians!
Do not bother asshole..... That is my business .. are you frightened. I am looking for my son Jonathan ...go figure .
If this song doesn't touch your soul you have never had a soul
I grew up listening and seeing their shows. This is BY FAR the best rendition I have ever heard.
Me too😊
Good ol Marshall Tucker band my old man and I went to the Roundup our first concert first date.... Where the hell of a memory.... Salute to them flags 👍💜💜💜
Wow. Memories, such Memories I h Ave of this song.
thank you for the awesome words, love & recognition, I am captivated❤. Where are you watching from?
There are covers and then there’s this. Possibly the Mother Cover of all covers. Heart, Soul and the drummers on time every-time.
I have been a Tucker fan since I was 16 what a great band/ Zac and his band nailed it 😊
These guys always leave it out there. One of our favorite live bands to go and have a listen to. Nowadays, seems to be more and more of us gents have met, lived with, and now are singing about this same woman...
Time to rock and roll America.
I first saw Clay with MTB at Toads in Hartford Conn. on St. Paddy's day in 2003 or 2004. Doug Gray of MTB was so proud to introduce his young nephew. My brother and I were awestruck by his musical talent. Guitar, saxophone, flute, vocals, he was incredible! I will never ever forget what my brother said to me after the show...He can do everything and I wouldn't doubt if he is also driving the bus! Memorable from day one! Thank you Clay.
I love New England
@@rosemarygranat3031 so do I. I miss it. Now in Southern Indiana.
Doin Dixie Proud. This is a MasterClass in musicianship and paying reverence to all the greats that paved the way. One damn fortunate audience.
Someone else said “eargasm.”
Definitely. If this doesn’t give you chills, stop wasting oxygen for the rest of us.
Toy and Tommy are smilin for sure.
Hell ya
It makes me wanna play! 💃🎼🎵🎶🎟🎹🎻🎺🎷🎸🎧🎤
Seen Marshall Tucker several times. Favorite song was Can't You See, only them but now only listen to ZBB Can't You See! FAV!
I love this. I love that Zac lets his band members do this. That’s a very talented group of musicians!
And Zac can play his ass off too
That is called self confidence, and he is also a Humble man
Now that he is gone😔 This song lives on forever....And the Zac Brown band,,,well,,,what a excellent rendition of this classic song....ROCK ON!!!
I could listen to Zac play this all night!! My favorite part! He is great!
Superb!! Honest soulful music... Canada xx
I think the Caldwells would be so honored by this magnificent tribute to their work and would certainly smile back and jam with everyone on the stage. The sound is so impeccably clean and it feels like you're being graced with the genuine presence of the great Marshall Tucker Band. This is a LEGENDARY performance and tribute. 😊😍😀😅😌😁🗻🌄🌅🌇🎉🎊🎆🎇📀📀📀
Toy, Tommy and of course Clay's uncle Doug Gray would be proud of this cover. My son and I had the fortune of meeting and chatting with Clay after a Marshall Tucker show a few years ago. Everyone was crowded around Doug to get his autograph but Clay was off to the side with nobody there. He played a guitar during that show that looked like it had Toy's image emblazoned on it. I went up to him, thanked him for a great show and told him that was the coolest Telecaster I've ever seen. Real nice guy!!!
I Remember the Marshall Tucker band, back in my day. I am 64 and this was What's up, back then, when I was 18 yrs old, along with Allman brothers band and 38 Special 💯🤘
Thank you
You're right

.I mean it kick stresses ass!! Loved it!! I'm going to play it again!!!!😝
Same!
Love Zac. Didn't realize he could jam like that!!
Love the violin at the intro. The Blue Grass part by Zak was also great...everything ..guitars, bass and percussion. I can imagine myself hauling a load of moonshine on that solo.
Right. Just great..taking a sip too.
If you can't see the love of these muscisans to their muscic, you must be blind. Such talented muscians! Not one of them stands out from the rest, just love of music. Best band ever.
The legacy of Spartanburg lives on! Hot stuff. Quite the collective of very talented musicians. Excellent.
Ice cold is I was crazy so less see who the bigger man willbe.

Same! As a 1962 baby, I saw Marshall Tucker more times than I can rememer (literally) but this is my 'new' favorite💜
@@ericaluba2904 have courage, for once in your life, stop hiding behind your privileges. Be a real MAN ... Possible??
Right. I especially love the Blue Grass part by Zac himself. It's as if the sun was rising over the horizon on top of the mountain.
Gets me every time, the screaming ........y'all know it!
Damn.... this is GOOOOOD!!!

Great version. Southern Rock soothes the soul.

A masterpiece of eargasm.
Thanks again for your continued harassment and abuse of myself and other community members. Very evident, your soul is evil.
Never heard it quite said that way lol
Simply excellent. Truly impressive cover of an all time classic.
BEST DAMN SOUTHERN SONG EVER RECORDED!! GREAT JOB GUYS!!🙂👍
You’ll probably never see this reply, but I agree. My all time favorite song of all time. ZB
B live version, I almost like better than Marshall Tucker. I have seen both in concert doing it. Zac makes you aware at beginning of show- it’s called Zac Brown BAND for a reason- Talented bunch of guys.

Definitly one of my very favorite songs ...
I like it I love it just a little bit more of it
It's quality bootleg's like this that make you want to go to the concert. When we get them again. Thanks
Still get chills listening to this
Bam, ZBB brings out the heartful soul of MTB...one of the southern great sounds
ZBB are awesome!!
Hard to duplicate Toy Caldwell’s tone being that he played his Les Paul with his thumb and not a pick. Nice to see Zac worshiping at the Marshall Tucker altar.
Throw that pick in the crowd do it with what GOD gave ya....THUNDER THUMB LIVES ON
notice this guy is playing the guitar with his thumb...loverly. when I was just a wee kid, I played my guitar with my thumb, didn't have any picks,,,,, saw that fiddle dude...wtvr...the feel of the thumb on the strings is life.
ronnie toots He plays finger style quite often. Like Cher Atkins, Jerry Reed and quite a few others. A pick is a crutch that is used by beginner guitarists to learn some of the basics of playing. Any guitarist that doesn’t suck eventually moves past beginner strumming and gets into the more advanced finger picking.
@@adamr9215 thanks, it takes a lot to give a compliment these days! Me and friends are gonna play Tuesday,
Thank you Clay & Zac Brown Band for such an awesome performance of "Can't You See"...it is dear to my heart

This was my last pre-cancer concert in Alpharetta, Ga. The following week I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer. I did squeeze in one more concert before Surgery and that was Kenny Chesney at the Georgia Dome in the Sandbar

Jill and Jenny this is Jeff yoder the ol'broke down scooter tramp (ex-biker) I'll be 72 in July God 🙏 willing and I remember when this song first came out and I never thought I'd like any cover of it but this version by the Zach Brown band really captures the essenc and feeling of the original Marshall Tucker band version and though it will never replace the original version if I was to go to a Zach Brown concert I would hope they would play it
The Marshall Tucker Band, The Allman brothers band,Molly Hatchet, 38 Special,
Lynyrd Skynyrd where the best bands to come out the south at that time and i think they still are and will always be!!!! LONG LIVE SOUTHERN ROCK!!!!
+kristalyn ighnat You forgot ARS
And Alabama
I agree and a couple more too.
xxNovaxx I think you missed the Outlaws and Charlie Daniels Band
If you noticed..their songs never get old...40 plus yr old songs sound just as good today as they did when they came out...nobody plays and writes like that anymore...
heard numerous versions but all roads lead back to Marshall Tucker Band , Zac Brown nailed it like a good Georgia boy would!!
