  • This is how I seamlessly moulded my fiberglass spoiler to the hatch of my 350z and joined fiberglass to metal. There was a lot of work involved but the finished product is worth it. This method looks great if you want a more stock/oem fitment.
I bought a second hand fiberglass Rocket Bunny style spoiler and used fiberglass chop mesh, fiberglass weave or cloth, fiber reinforced filler, lightweight body filler and spray on body filler. This method was the most recommended however if you know of a better way please share in the comments.
If you are going to do this to your car I would recommend investing in good sanding tools as majority of this work is sanding, I used from 36grit up to 400grit.

Wanted to stop and leave a comment, as I see you are a small UA-cam and putting in good effort and doing a great job. Also, points to silver 350Z owners ;) Cheers man, keep up the great work.

I will be doing something similar to my r32 skyline Gtst. But I am thinking about building the ducktail from scratch with fiberglass.

I believe the fiber glass was a bit overkill but great job!

Excellent work. Definitely time-consuming, but worth it to have such a clean piece in the end. Sub'd for support!

Thanks mate I’m unsure of the origin as I bought it off a bloke locally, unsure who actually makes them.

Final result looks amazing. How is it holding up? Any cracks? I'm thinking of doing this to my G.

Holding up pretty good the paint did suck into the fibreglass but no cracks yet 🤞🏻

I’m north of Brissy but I’m not sure if I’ll be doing this for others, took a lot of time with all the sanding
