Congrats on the trophy! Making spinners is fun, mine are more trout sized. Maybe you could do a video on how you make yours. Wishing you and the family have a happy & healthy holiday and fish filled new year! Thanks Gunnar
Congrats on your Muskie season and sticking a pig on the fly. That’s a dream of mine. In my state there’s a company called Joe’s Flies that are trout flies behind a spinner so your scaled up concept will work
Nice 2020 , throwing that big junk with a fly Rod can wear you out . But it’s one of my favorites to fish here in Montana we’re using smaller flies 4”” to 6” and eight weights for trout and they will kill um .Hope you enjoy the rest of the year and have a productive 2021 . Happy Trails
Larry Dahlberg whopper plopper, BIG double bladed “cowgirl type” spinner with 13”flashabou bug, bigger is better, tried and true. Possibly flouro bite tippet and use 65/80 braid mainline for momma! Your vids are awesome and inspiring. I pour and tie saltwater jigs (flare hawks) for snook, tarpon. Planning to use brush concepts for bulk without resistance. I’ve been sick most of this year and your vids are a high point for sure. Many can tie a bug, few can explain the concepts and rational behind the design as you do! Kudos
You ever thought about putting a prop blade in front of a streamer? I tied up a spybait last year and stuck a bunch of spawning largemouth with it. It's not going to thump like a Colorado blade, but it moves a lot of water and makes a lot of noise. Really pisses off largemouths.
I do the same for Trout, using a fly rod, so i create a very small wire section to fit a small french blade, so leader, blade and a big streamer, works as a treat, trout may not eat it always, but if they see it (sometimes from far if clear) they will follow it 100%, until they see you and back off.
Great video. I really like the gear/fly strategy, and have employed similar for several years.

1:39 that dragonfly is totally chasing your fly 😱😂👌🏻

In know those frustration poses all to well

your sink tip should carry your fly with zero problem. No need to chuck a weighted fly. That's just extra unnecessary work. Congrats on the big gal!
Congrats. Is that a Hog Island Skiff? You like it?
Nice selection in music in the truck. Seems to be a lot of metal heads into fly fishing these days.
Was surprised to see the baitcaster but great fish!
Sweet video. What mat are you using under your vise?

A depth finder and a map with bottom contours will accelerate your learning curve.
Good stuff
What is that boat you're trailering?
Cheat add a spinner blade on your wire leader
