SURFING TOFINO AMID WILDFIRES, FUEL SHORTAGES AND ROAD CLOSURES! (RAW POV) VANCOUVER ISLAND, CANADA

For those that don't know already, an out of control wildfire at Cameron Bluffs on Vancouver Island, Canada has been blocking the one road that separates Port Alberni, Tofino and Ucluelet from the rest of the world on Vancouver Island. A couple of detours are in place at this time to keep the supply chain flowing out here, but with all the delays and extra time it takes for goods to get here some gas stations are out of fuel or rationing it.
Out here on the rugged west coast it is not uncommon to experience supply shortages, power outages and extreme weather events of all kinds and locals are used to having to deal with these types of things all throughout a normal year. So for now we keep on as usual looking for waves close to home while there's hardly anyone out here!
