I wasn't really keeping track of the temps at the time but it was fine without gloves.

This day was around 8-10 foot wave faces but much bigger out to sea. The wave in this clip was a medium sized one for the day.

@@tofinosurfphotography Yeah our city even created a little seal beach where tourists aren't allowed. Definitely come visit us; We get good surf about 10x a year but rarely during summer. We get up to 6 to 8ft swells, between 7 and 9 sec/p so it's very surfable. And it's very proximate to at least 5 other countries...

Yes, there are definitely places to watch some bigger waves roll in during the storms but they are not usually surfable when they get much bigger.
