      Richard Pryor is the reason ADC was able to do this. Even back to Dick Gregory, Lenny Bruce, and Red Foxx opened doors for RP.

    Originally, "Dice Man" was just a character he did at the end of his stand up set. It got over so good, he just morphed into Andrew "Dice" Clay.

    I bought his comedy cassette when I was in junior high school. I had it memorized from beginning to end. One of the funniest comedians ever. This was back before everyone was so easily offended.

      No, he doesnt have it anymore. I saw him few months ago. His opening act Eleanor Kerrigan was much better. And Ive seen him in the early 90's when he was great, then again in the early 2000's I won tickets to see him in a tiny restaurant maybe 150 people and he was alright then. But a few months ago no he doesnt still have it. His new material was drawn out stories that werent funny. The crowd only wanted the nursery rhymes jokes which he finished with.
      But I guess youtube likes are more important than the truth. Thanks for sharing. Says youtubers who want likes.

    Was in middle school when Dice busted on the scene. We passed his cassettes around and laughed our asses off. Still to this day, almost 40 years later I still go back and listen to all his albums and crack up. Easily the undisputed stand up KING.

    I saw his show in Austin around 1990. It was freaking awesome!! You should see the nursery rhymes on "Diceman Cometh"... by then, the audience knew all those rhymes, but he had some new ones. I faithfully watched Rodney Dangerfield's show and saw this one when it came out. A lot of comedians made their start on his show.

    My birthday gift from my wife 3 years ago for my 50th birthday was a 5 minute cameo video from Andrew Dice Clay. It was simultaneously filthy and hilarious. She's the one-I knew it in 2006 and I know it in 2024.

    I met Andrew Silverstein “Dice Clay” back in the 1990’s - incredibly nice guy. He isn’t Italian which I thought during 80’s.
    “Dice man” is just a character, which was morphed out of a John Travolta impersonation.

    My parents were not happy when i came home with this album ,lol ..i was only 14 . The 1st time i played it ,they bust in my room and took it . They took my Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy albums too ,lol ..best shi ever and comedy will never be as funny as it was back then.
    I still have my original walkman with the original headset ..still works with all my old cassette.
    Id like to see this generation have to listen to music like we did back then ..ww had tp watch MTV all day just to see our favorite video.
    We had to actually go to a store and look through 100ds of cassettes or records to find what we wanted ,lol ..
