A small but interesting fact that your generation is unaware of, Jonny Carson was the undisputed King of Late Night TV for decades. & Every night he would walk out through those colorful curtains & give a 20 min monolog. Over the years, literally thousands upon thousands of acts made their appearance on Jonny's stage. NONE got the color curtains, they all got plain gray curtains. Jonny & ONLY Jonny got the color. & Then... Jonny insisted Rodney Dangerfield get the color curtains. His show, he's the boss, you do what he says. Shocked the entire nation when we saw it. But Rodney Dangerfield... 'Got His Respect' !
The way he would double or even triple down on a joke. Then set another one up and go even harder. My mom introduced me to Rodney and other classics but he was always one of the best to me.
COOL CHANNEL Y'ALL!! Rodney Dangerfield IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES! I was born in 86, watched his Comedy Specials through the 90's on HBO/Etc... About to watch Y'all's Reactions, paused at the beginning to share this, Hope to see more from you two!!
Johnny Carson was a super powerful dude! He can make or break a comedian simply by asking them to set down after their set. That almost guaranteed stardom. from Eddie Murphy to Seinfeld.
I love Rodney, a kidney stone is not just a stone..... it's a jagged stone that rips and scrapes on the way out, doctors say it's the worst pain a human can feel.
Grab a shirt, button falls off. Grab a briefcase, handle falls off. Go to the bathroom and grab something, it might fall off. Can't believe you missed that near the end. It wasn't just bad stuff happening that day. Got a pause right at the punchline. Glad you guys are really experiencing more legends of comedy, not just current stuff.
when late night was late night. men were men. casually smoking. Funny as all hell. Greatest generation and all are almost all gone. SO lucky i was able to see it. Clean humor .. IT was known rodney was a very nervous guy and also part of his comedy. He was a drinker though.
A guy I know's wife just had kidney stones - she said she would rather give birth a dozen times in a row than go through that again! I always heard that a kidney stone was comparable to childbirth, but thought it was just an exaggeration based on the fact that men often get them and where it's exiting from... but apparently it is true!!! 🤣
You guys are awesome! Your reactions make me laugh while other reactors are boring. You seem like a great couple too. I hope you have a long happy life together. Thx for the quality entertainment!
This isn't just comedy. It's a masterclass on how to talk about anything while getting around censors on network television back when their authority was absolute.
Between ;Don Rickles and Andrew ;Dice Clay, Rodney ;Dangerfield "filled" THEIR Jewish deli sandwich from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC! (that "tough neighborhood!";) 🌆 😂
I have had at least a dozen kidney stones. It is one of the few pains a man can experience that can be compared to the pain women experience during childbirth. I have had enough kidney stones that they feel like a strong pinch now. My first stone had me crying and puking.
@@TylerD288 yes and no. Some people are more prone to developing kidney stones. If you drink lots of water and eat certain fruits (pineapple is a great one) you will be fine. But if you consistently drink dark liquids (tea and coffee) and/or liquids containing high amounts of fake sugar (soda), and not enough water, stones will develop. My fourth stone was the first one I had to get an operation to remove. That was when I started working with a Urologist. He ran some tests and tried to tell me I simply wasn’t drinking enough water. I basically cut off tea and soda for at least two years. I still developed stones. The first year we figured I was dealing with stones that were already developed. The second year we recognized that I was still developing stones. Even though I went from drinking half a gallon of water to two gallons of water per day.
@@gonzoe123 Thanks for the reply, thankfully I've never had them. I don't drink much coffee or soda (a little, but only a cup or one or two sodas per week, sometimes none), basically water all day except at meal times, when I drink juice. I drink some green tea also, but only one big mug a day and I've always eaten lots of vegetables. I hope you never have to deal with them again, they sound terrible.
You know what I would like to see you guys react to? There's a film where Rodney Dangerfield did voice work for a cartoon character. The name of that film is called Rover Dangerfield. Where he does the voice of a dog by the name of Rover Dangerfield. This dog does stand-up comedy the same style as Rodney Dangerfield but from a dog's perspective. But it's not just a comedy film it's also an action adventure. With a villain and a decent storyline. And it would be cool to see you guys react to that. Because not only was the dog named inspired by Rodney Dangerfield the voice actor for the dog was Rodney Dangerfield.
" *Patterson New Jersey, where the population never changes* .... *Every time a kid is born, some guy leaves town* " Quoting Rodney Dangerfield, take it easy... 😂😂 We're not erasing history because a handful of snowflakes can't handle truth. You think it's crazy cause it's a rock? I think it's crazy that your kidney will turn into a rock like that, had a buddy that got one at school, had to go get it broken up at the hospital
Rodney didn’t get married till late in life and didn’t have children, there just jokes quick one liners if you don’t laugh there’s another joke right behind it!
I’ve had 6 surgeries for kidney stones. The first time, I had a nurse tell me that she gave birth to 3 children and had kidney stones once, and that she’d rather have another kid than have kidney stones again 😂
I've seen hundreds of reaction videos and you guys are the first I've seen that didn't like Dangerfield. Chicky sitting over there shaking her head dissaprovingly at every joke. Lighten up! Just let yourself laugh and enjoy the show.
Why do you have a channel reacting to comedy when not only doesn’t she ever laugh, but she also fights laughing those rare instances she wants to? It’s really annoying, I have to change my settings to not have this come up in my feed.
Bro you know what’s weird is someone laughing throughout the entire thing and you complaining about them not laughing?? She has to laugh as hard as me for you to be satisfied?
RD was a legend, no fear, respect that man.
That's his problem, he can't get no respect from anyone.
I been laughing at these jokes for 50 yrs
😂😂
Dangerfield. Kinison. Pryor. Dice Clay. All LEGENDS
Always liked Rodney as an old school comic. He was great in 'Caddyshack' and 'Back to School'.
Easy Money is a gem too. Joe Pesci is in it to boot.
"My Wife, terrible cook, you kiddin'
I mean, *Our back Yard* , *The Flies chipped in to fix the screen door* " 😅😂
Rodney was the MAN!
Wow that’s golden shit right there.
He has a music video too. Back when MTV played music.
This was my childhood. Me and my dad watched Johnny Carson every night before we went to bed. We had so much to laugh about back then. Peace!
You both have TERRIFIC laughs, so I love when you do the comedy ones! Thank you for making these.

Carson, was, and is Late Nite.!
The amount he was laughing and what made him laugh, I'm guessing he's find the 3 stooges hilarious and she'd be rolling her eyes. ;)
"My mother-in-law needed a heart transplant once. They had to give it up because they couldn't find a gorilla."
I saw him live at Madison Square Garden. I went home in pain from laughing so hard.
Hey my Dr Vinnie boombatz is a 5ft tall Guido; I call him Minnie goombaz, oh!
I got to see him in person in the early 80s. He was a legend then.
Ever see his headstone? It says "There goes the neighborhood".
Rodney... The best thing to ever happen to cocaine.
My doctor wanted a urine sample, a stool sample, and a semen sample, so I took off my underwear and went home.
I had to squeeze a kidney stone out
Im 148 on the like list 😂😂👍👍
Thanks!
Thank you family! Bless up
Kidney stone is no joke

Can't you fix it by drinking a lot of water and eating healthy? Or does it just affect some people no matter what they eat and drink?

Yeah he did lots of coke before performing. He actually had stage fright and was always afraid of not being any good
makes total sense tbh
Rodney was always down for a bump and a toke
