Confused? When the bucket is under the trailer is it blocked up near the beams and measured from the beam to the water line or do you block it up next to the beam where the water line is equal with the bottom of the beam? and do you have to find the highest point first? It is hard to understand how this works not using the trailer.

Very interesting but I’m still not sure that I understand how that works. 😄
Do you (first) make the level of the fluid in the bucket line up with the base of the mobile home, and then (secondly) you go around the outside of the home and hold the pipe up against the side of the home, and check if the side of the home is aligned with the fluid level in the pipe? Is that correct?
And if that is how you do it, then how do you know where (what level) to ‘set the bucket’ at, because if that bucket spot is already wrong, then one could be unnecessarily re-leveling a lot of pylons, and not just the ones that are out of alignment when measured against the majority of them. (Hope you understand what I’m getting at here.) So I would think that where one sets the bucket is critical.
Maybe needs more detailed instructions for us newbies, thanks. I need to re-level my single wide.

Don’t worry I found another video that showed me how it works, thanks.

Have you ever siphoned any fluid? The fluid flows towards whichever side is lower until the fluid is equal at both sides. The reason for the bucket is to work as a reservoir so one side doesn’t go up or down much while the other side is a thin tube to reveal inconsistencies in level. The hose and bucket should not overflow, and have a higher total volume than the amount put in it. No air should be in the line. I like to have the level in the bucket equal to the desired level point, but it doesn’t have to be the same as the desired level point as long as you know the rise or drop at each measurement.

    Did you calibrate the bucket?

Calibration is done by not moving the bucket or changing the water level while maintaining consistency of measurement at the other end

I'd like to see the jacks you used or the process of doing this. Iam about to tackle this tho never done it before. I've asked every grown man i know if they know how an every one of them tells me "oh you can just use a 6ft level an cpl jacks just go around an level it" literally what everyone tells me an my common sense thinking ass tells myself how in the hell will a bubble level be able to level 80+ft lol, i just let them pretend like they know what they are talking about an iam now at the point of iam the smartest person i know lol an well shit, iam gonna make me one them levels an see how it goes lol

A couple 20 ton hydraulic jacks from Lowes. Nothing special.
