Worth Doing Right
Приєднався 30 тра 2015
Being presently pleased with some products and services while being disgusted by others, I chose to use this channel to share "how to" videos, provide product reviews, share jobs done with my tractor, or share other content that pertains to a concept I have taught my children (and other students), which is..."if something is worth doing, then it is worth doing it right" (the first time).
Products should be built-to-last and people need to take pride in their work. Quality products, quality craftsmanship, and quality services should be sought after, endorsed, and promoted. While honest mistakes are understandable and can happen to anyone on occasion, the observation of short comings is so often enough that the phrase, "if you want something done right, then do it yourself" came into existence. In the end, taking short cuts to "save time or money" generally ends up costing more than doing it right the first time. Thanks for viewing, and God bless.

Accurizing the AR: proper barrel extension fitment in the upper receiver
Переглядів 37Рік тому
Yes, this video is just three round groups...with scope adjustments between each three shots...but you can see even on the AR system, I was able to get sub-1" groups 2 out of three times at 100 yards after “accurizing” the system by removing the barrel, wrapping the barrel extension with a 0.001” shim, and reinstalling it back into the upper receiver for tighter fitment. I am no benchrest shoot...

Thanks. Interesting perspective. Sounds reasonable. The bolt strength and chamber pressure interests me. Not too much out there discussing this point.
Good work! Also, I checked out that kennel on your shirt. Look like one seriously impressive K9 breeding program. "American Sentinel" probably some jeep, johnson, or scott lines in some of the foundational stock?
There is no American Bulldog in our program. As far as gamedogs go, we used mostly Sorrells, but also have some Mayday lines.
Good explanation! Great User Name.
Funny questions. You mark the clear hose where the water is exactly level with the water in the bucket. Of course you set the reference point on your project to be the same height as the bucket & hose. We'll call this datum. Then take the hose to where you need & find the height of datum there, by lining up the hose water to your mark.
Best grapple operation video i seen 👍
Damn…this is straight up the truth!!
😅😅 I love water levels. I used "water levels" 100'. 2:26 when I work on the Bellagio casino vegas
Steam can get much hotter that 212
Indeed it can, but it is CREATED at 212...and since this is a free flowing system without pressure and is coming from a controlled tool designed pretty much for minimal temp steam, which is 212...not to mention that the actual hood and paint is not coming close to that temperature at all. You can actually put your hand on the car unless one is not paying any attention at all
I’m enjoying your Kioti review videos. They’re very informative and seem quite non-biased when comparing with other makes. I’ve been doing lots of homework on the big three including Kioti to purchase my first tractor and this has been very helpful. Thanks a bunch. Keep up the great job.
Hey listen now, ima grab us some beer, come on down and help me.,, 😁
Great job! I'm a 6.8 guy. I might have to get one.
Was hoping to see it in action. Nice setup
What if it rains?
Level the house when it isn't raining, then after you finish, put the skirting back on.
Spc don't have heavy enough bullets
I saw a concrete guy pour a slab 1.5” out of level at 16 feet. He used the “beep, beep, beep” laser level.
Excellent explanation!! Especially regarding the importance of barrel length
Just bought a CK2620. Can I ask how many hours you have on that 2610? Great review by the way...
360-380 I think. Still all good
Thank you
What would give a neck down 6.5 SPC ?
Is it not spring loaded ?
You should make a video of you actually using it leveling out the mobile home
Thanks for this video. I went with the Pro for my CK3520SE bucket partly because of your video. 🚜
glad you found it helpful
Damn it looks like the cracks damaged the paint of the car
Once we removed it, the paint was fine
How long did it take
@@BuiltByMike probably 30 minutes...maybe an hour. I forget but it wasn't that long. Also, we did it on a cold day.
Very nice presentation! Thank-you!
Appreciate the knowledge drop!!
every advantage the 6.8 has over the 6.5, the 300 ham'r has over the 6.8. find a cartridge that works for you, and use it. practice is the most important, not caliber.
I'll always go for a suppressor over options similar to those products.
I am now the same way, but had good experience with the pig. I had too much faith. Lol.
Just ordered my ck2620 with backhoe and grapple. Neighbor helped me with trees after Helene, and had the same model. Very impressive.
I like the SME. I think it is better than the Pig. On some things, I prefer it even over a suppressor. My one suppressor is not hearing safe with 5.56. So, if I'm going to need ear pro anyways, it is nice having it just stay with some rifles.
I use these and they seem to work as advertise. I like them. They are probably the best brake/blast shield I know of. Yes, these are better than the Noveske Pig. I have both. IMO it does a better job. The real reason to go with the SME is that the 'new' pigs are unable to be disassembled for maintenance. The Noveske customer support said they permanent lock tite them together. If anyone is wondering, these things preform surprisingly well with subsonic 22lr.
Thanks for the comment. I have a few of the pigs. I actually find the pig to perform better as a linear comp, but of course the SME would work better as a brake when the shield is removed. I am able to disassemble the pig, but honestly, I find no need to do so. You can spray break free in it, and get it sufficiently clean.
@@WorthDoingRight You know what generation your Pig is? My first gen KX3 comes apart, my KX5 does not. The customer support guy at Noveske said my KX5 shouldn't, and probably won't, be able to be serviced by the customer. I think it is not a good design aspect when it doesn't come apart. The reason I want them to come apart for cleaning is for foreign material. I watched my friend walking in front of me while we were out hunting prairie dogs slip in mud and ended up nose diving his barrel in mud. We were able to clean the barrel out and the brake in the field. If that was the Pig I was using, I would of been SOL for the whole day.
Similar thing happened to my buddy at the range. It was gravel not mud. He was pissed that we couldn't get the rocks out at the range. Then he was super pissed that we couldn't even take it apart at home to get the rest of the rocks out. It was like trying to shake every drop of water out of a tier (if you know what I mean)
@@Magnum-284 Interesting. I have never had my muzzle in mud or rocks, but I understand that could happen. If one needs to get it apart, heat it up. If that doesn't work, they may have used rockset, which can be broken down in boiling water.
@@500spectre I have three, all three are the smaller and lighter KX5. I got them apart.
I love mine in 5.56, but i dunno about people saying it's a suppressor without being a suppressor. It's still loud and you need ear pro. That said... I'll buy another and recommend them to my friends.
Appreciate the honesty and the personal investment. We have been very pleased and impressed with the Witt products we have purchased and plan to continue to buy more in future. I look forward to the results you get with the 6.8. I have considered this product for my hunting rifles. But just haven't done so. Happy hunting.
I am going to part with some of them as I picked up a couple of suppressors from silencer shop, and just don't need these. I have several of these that were never used if you are interested that I will let go for much lower than retail...but that is not why I made the video. I only posted this in my reply because it sounds like you were going to try one anyway.
@@APBT-Bandog That is very kind of you. I will hold off for a bit. Hunting hard now and winter soon. I am a self employed contractor and winter slows down a good bit.
They are already there.
Did you drill those holes, or are they already there for the other cutting edge? I looks great!
the holes are already there.
Today I get my CS2220 Kioti. My first purchase is going to be this. O plan on removing thousands of small mesquite trees on my property with it.

What do you know about mahindra compact tractors
I definitely need one of these!
Hah, one of those that use the rear remotes for third function
Where did you get these?! I can’t find them anywhere! 😭
apparently they are sold out.
And then came the .458S out of a 11.5bbl and one shot drops at CQB range.
I took my first two white tails with this ammo. 1st was 90 yds, secind was 170 yds. Both had identical tissue results - through shoulder bones, left chest cavity like soup and a decent size exit. Have an ACOG on my AR and placement hit as perfect as you'd ever want! (PS. Both deer were moving...)
Dude! Thanks man.
looks great! Recently converted my old flatbed motorcycle trailer into a camper, finished the exterior today actually. Wanted to paint the exterior in Rapto pain but it was going to cost me $800! I'm in the UK and it's so expensive.
Sierra’s use of green for the polymer tip is unfortunate for me. I belong to a range in NJ that is very strict about types of ammo and an RO always insists I have green tips until I ask him to examine it. TMKs are my favorite in multiple calibers. But wish they used a different color, though I get it is their brand logo color.
6.8 spc is the best P4P all around caliber
Keep it simple!
Sir, you are correct.
