    what a ridiculous situation. they need to relax the regulations a bit and classify mead as separate type of alcohol equal to beer and not called wine.

      I disagree. The lines between wine and mead get so blurry sometimes it could be a nightmare if you had a license for only one knowing what you can and can't make. Personally I think the idea of them falling under the same licensing allows for more creative freedom when developing new recipes.

      @@tinybadastronaut well. as long it doesn't limit innovation then all is good but I feel it deserves its own category at least.
