Western, NC here (Saluda). Its bad here, many lost, buildings gone. I have 2 young children, live in a rural area with a natural spring. Ive been prepping for years. It pays, if you have children you most certainly need to prep. I have been able to maintain a normal life for my family through all this. Tools, protection, food, water. I was informed yesterday, 10/3, that Mission hospital has hundreds of bodies piled up, and they get counted when family is notified first. The guys moving landslide debris, said they're told to just move it. If there's bodies in the debris, they remain in debris, by order.

Thank you, been putting the word out everywhere I can of what and where grindstone is operating. Along with web addresses and admin email.
I can’t even imagine how bad it is there. My dad lives just outside of Valdosta, GA and he hasn’t had power, internet or cell service for a week now. He was able to drive a little way to get limited cell service for a bit and give me an update. Luckily he was mostly prepared and has a generator, so he’s able to stay at his house. He said it looks like a disaster area there too and a lot of roads are still closed. So it it’s that bad at his place, I can’t imagine how bad it is where Grindstone is helping. Praying for the families who live there and all the people helping in that area.
