✎ As I said in the previous video, a lot of HEAVY stuff has been weighing me down this past year.
But one friend in particular, who's been through hell himself, has endured, and even through it all has remained a steady, strong, encouraging, friend in my life. So this is a BIG thank you to him, and to wish you a Happy Birthday weekend!
I started this vid waaaay back in.....oh, I don't even have the original file......probably back in 2017 be my guess? Doesn't matter. Point is, I've worked on it on and off over the years whenever I needed to vent and its finally done. (Okay maybe I did trim it a little to speed things along.) But it never related to me more then it has now in my life, and I know it does my friend as well.
These are our 3 favorite animated fandoms too. =)

Vent projects are easy to start and hard to finish. They get done whenever they get done. I still have your Anna vent - “Its just another birthday” - that you sent me back in 2014. (Its still quite relevant, actually).
Since I’m not around these parts anymore, I haven’t seen your recent editing touches, like the rotating frames in this one and the subtle zoom ins, but some of the old school edits are still there: The expert lyric-clip matching, capturing the sad and tender moments of these films that fit the mood of the song, and making a smooth transition from the first half of the song to the last (I only attempted that trick once or twice).
Well, well, well, look who stepped out from the shadows. Here let me dust ya off; you're just covered in dust! *coughs*
Wow, and that Anna vid is even older...I wonder if I still have it? *Digs it up* Huh, you're right, still hits like a icy blast into my cold, frozen heart. (Kinda wished I finished it now...hmmm.)
Yeah, I think my editing style has changed A LOT over the years, and since this is technically old, THIS isn't entirely accurate. Very mixed. But hey, thanks for dropping in! It was soooooo good to hear from ya again my friend, and take a trip down memory lane ❤

I know I usually go through and highlight my favorites, but I don't think I can because everything flows perfectly! All the "heavy"s and overwhelming scenes! Stronger, fearless heroes are great, but one who stand strong because of their struggles are even greater!

The video itself is so on-point and beautifully made, but I especially have to point out the symbolism of “center of the universe” at 1:09 with Elsa and “you can spin around me just the same” 1:11 with Elsa, Anna, and Olaf as children. And then the same lyric with Hiccup in the Kill Ring 1:14 to the Forbidden Friendship dance for the second line 1:16. Plus how being the “center” of the universe meant hurting the people they loved, with Hiccup condemning Toothless to be captured, and Elsa hitting Anna with ice. That was brilliant and poignant.
