- Why hello everyone!! This may have taken a waaayy longer than 3 weeks, ahehe. ;)
I think it was worth the wait though, and despite the long delay, it WAS the most successful MEP I've hosted. 11/12 people delivered their parts on time so I can't complain too much. And you 11 people did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!! THANK YOU so much for your participation and dedication!! I really appreciated it xD
BIG SHOUT OUT to FortisFaith for reaching out and being so willing to double up on parts. I couldn't have done it with out you. literally If it wasn't for her (and Funtasicvids) this MEP would probably be sitting idle till the end of my school semester.
Oh and speaking of THAT, yeah thats where I've been this whole time; I've been going INSANE this past month since starting back to college. My life has taken a complete 180 degree turn from being consumed with boredom all the time, to being overwhelmed 24/7 with assignments/deadlines - night and day, even in my dreams/nightmares; I can't escape -all I do is eat, sleep, and breath Animation!! Its wonderful and stressful at the same time, aha! Granted, I'd rather be busy than bored so thats positive.
With that said, you probably can tell I've been too busy to even tell you I'm "too busy"... SO, this is to OFFICIALLY announce that I am on a SEMI-HIATUS till the end of the semester. This is the first time in 6 years I've had to say those words, but I am dead serious about pursuing Animation and it requires 110% of my devotion. In fact I didn't even dare open my editor at all those first 3 weeks cause I was so stressed. (I finally caved in one night though because I was so desperate to vent.....then I regretted it the next day.)
I LOVE my school, the professors, and simply learning and being in a Christian environment in my major is such a rarity too. I've been working in Maya 3D software, animating 2D principles digitally in TVPaint, and drawing a ton and learning about design of course on old fashion paper. However - as odd as this is gonna sound - drawing is not one of strong points, at all. I love drawing I just hate my drawing if that makes sense. I'm more technical than artistically gifted on the broad scheme of the animation field, but I got a lot of heart ache in drawing till I get where I want to be. Its soooo discouraging and makes me feel so inferior though. shakes head
Anywho, where was I? Oh the Hiatus: Yep, I'll still be around but I certainly won't be editing/uploading much of anything for awhile. (But I'll comeback! I love video editing too much ;)
Oh, and several people have commented on my usual RTTE highlight video I've been doing.....um, yeah I intend on doing it for this latest 5th season someday but it won't be anytime soon I'm afraid. It took me 3 weeks just to watch it (I think I finally finished it last weekend? IDK) I have some thoughts on it but I won't digress here. IT was good but not better like how the previous 4 built up. I still need a song to edit to it as well but can't find one that sparks....
Okay, thats all I can say for now, gotta go back to animating, drawing, working in Maya, all that jazz. Sorry if this description sounded scattered; I AM scattered these days. sighs

Everyone did an amazing job on their parts! It was absolutely gorgeous to watch, everything matched up EXTREMELY well.
This turned out incredible!! The effects in some of these parts are spectacular, and they all flowed so naturally together. Beautiful job to all! And oh my gosh--I'm so incredibly proud of you for pursuing your animation dream!! Gosh, I'm jealous! I've been all over in what I want to do in life, and even more I'm torn so many ways. Animation is tough, especially 2D but I'm sure Maya is a blast to do! And what you said about drawing is completely understandable--I feel the same about my artwork, and I believe that's really a required attitude to have if you're going to become a great artist someday. Dissatisfaction means we know what we are capable of and that we can do better. School is insane, and I'm still amazed that we've all come this far from our old days of having free time and endless vidding. Anyway, this MEP was awesome and I'm so happy to have a part of it!

This is incredible! Great job to all the editors that worked on this, you did a fantastic job. And a personal thank you to you NightFuryFan for creating this, it has to be hard coordinating all these clips together (and that's only after finally getting people to get their clips to you in the first place!) but you did it, and this has to be one of the greatest MEP's I've ever seen! So may great movies and video editors!
Congrats on going back into school for editing/animation!!! I'm so glad to hear you are pursing animation and video editing hardcore now, and are following that incredible artistic pathway. Maybe you will one day get to be one of the top animators/editors for Disney or DreamWorks, how cool would that be! Image not only meeting people like John Lasseter, but helping make the movies he's directing! :)
PS Don't worry, I love to draw but can't draw worth crap either. I tried to draw Rapunzel and she turned out looking like a witch (I swear I was trying to draw Rapunzel, not Mother Gothel lol) then I tried to draw Snow White and she looked like a gorilla! I just can't seem to make it work lol.

Very nice that you've gotten into an animation school! I wanted to be a movie animator at first, I still want to do it on the side, but it sounds like way too much stress for me to work in an animation studio. It's a hard job, but since you're already in it basically, I'm gonna support you all the way. I'm actually in an internship with a subsidiary company of Samsung called Prismview through my school, and we get to work with After Effects all day. It's actually really fun. It's for business and advertisement, but it's still animating. And it's awesome. I wish you good luck in your endeavors. :)

AAAAAAAHHHHH I SQUEALED WITH JOY WHEN I SAW THIS SHOW UP!!!! I MESSAGED FORTIS RIGHT AWAY WHEN I SAW IT BUT SHE BEAT ME TO IT😂 I LOVE IT AND I'M SO HAPPY BECAUSE THIS IS UP!!(Haha pun intended lol) BUT EVERYONE DID A PHENOMENAL JOB!!!! THIS IS MY FAVORITE MEP OF ALL TIMES!!!! I remember when I joined and I felt like I was gonna do a crappy job but I actually am happy how my part turned out and I was so happy I even posted my part before the MEP was uploaded on my Fb account(as you saw lol) but AAAAHHHHH JUST EVERYONE BLESS EVERYONE!!! THEY DID A STUNNING JOB!!! Also I can relate to your college struggles. We had hurricane Irma and uhm because of that college was delayed for me And I was SO afraid I was gonna get kicked out of the classes. But thankfully the teachers understood because they also dealt with the hurricane. But yeah, it's my first year of college and I'm taking online classes and I'm kind of nervous to continue them so I feel ya right there. They're a bit stressful too but I'm only taking 2 of them since I'm too lazy to take more then that. My classes are Environmental science and algebra. I wanna be a marine biologists and editor and for a marine biologist, I have to take SO MANY SCIENCE CLASSES INCLUDING PHYSICS AND CHEMISTRY which I'm sadly no good at but I wish you the best of luck in your college struggles and remember, during your time, always be positive which you're already good at so I'm sure you'll have no trouble at all with that😊 Also I may have blushed a little when you mentioned me in your description😊 Thank you my dear friend❤️

This is amazing. These kinds of videos are a perfect example of what I dream to do. But I have no idea how to start. How do you make them? Who taught you? And what editing software do you use? I love your videos. Keep it up!
Shannon Smith Hello! If you want to start making music videos, I recommend wondershare filmora to start out with. Most people use sony Vegas, but if you aren't huge on spending a lot of money, and if you want to start out with something that is easy to use, wondershare filmora is the way to go! It only costs $50 and looks really close to the Sony Vegas video editors.
To become really good at making videos, just keep trying! If you look at all these people's channels on UA-cam who make these types of videos, you can see that they start out pretty good, and then get better and better video by video. If you just keep on trying, you can accomplish it! I hope I helped!
FortisFaith cool, is it a program on the computer? I've also always wondered how do you gather all of the movie clips for your videos. Do you just find the certain clips on the internet? Then combine them after cutting and taking what parts of it you want? I took some editing classes with using premiere pro but it doesn't have the special effects like I've seen in these kinds of videos
Shannon Smith yes it is on the computer. You just have to buy it and download it. I usually just download clips off of UA-cam. But if you own the movie you can just put the disc into your computer and download the movie onto it. Once you have your clips from the movie you want, upload them to the editor. Then pick a song you really like that will go with the movie. Then just upload the song to wondershare filmora. To start the video just match the parts of the movie with the lyrics to the song. And you have your video😊
