Erwin's speech is one of the best "heroic sacrifice / inspiring the troops" speeches in any fiction ever. "We die trusting the living who follow to find meaning in our lives". Enough said.

I was laughing and shocked and soo many emotions flew by when I was watching this episode so I can relate to them

Colossal Titan => Atomic Bomb = Hiroshima
Gaschamber => Hitler = Auschwitz
An atomic bomb simply is a tool to kill (as you said) tens of thousands of people. That's the only purpose of it. When you here "atomic bomb" you will undeniably think of hiroshima. It goes hand in hand.
Erwin really lived with the deaths of at least 300+ soldiers on his mind every day and still had more composure than 95% of people in the show. RIP to one of the greatests
The OST during Bertholdt transformation is so amazing and fit the entire scene perfectly,
“Steady we ride” as Bertholdt uses his ODM gear to ascend into the sky,
“Watching scenes playing out from our past” as Bertholdt turns his head to look at his former comrades one last time,
“Like the smell of her hair, Those times always flyby so fast” Referring to Annie as Bertholdt transform and passes the point of no return,
“...Should we just let it all fade, is it just time?” as Bertholdt descend and hit the ground wiping out everything around him.
This scene and Bertholdt inner monologue before and through the scene told the story from his side in just one minute, truly amazing.

I believe they translated the joke to english pretty well too, he says erens house is eavesdropping on them. The eaves are part of a house's roof, which was currently dropping out of the sky towards them

Not really a spoiler but
The reason the colossal titan's shifting has a big impact because one of the colossal's skills is nuke shifting, he can regularly shift but he chose not too because because of the lighting it would be hard for him to see if any scout were to sneak up on him during the process.
I kinda forgot he had two ways of shifting as well until I rewatched season 1 and he appeared behind Eren
Yeah people looked back at season 1 when he shifted behind eren during episode 4 and thought that was a plothole and that he should've nuked everyone back then but in reality he can choose to explode or not.

Erwin Smith is one of the best-written character ever. Watching back to this still gives me goosebumps, what a great leader he was.
Erwin leaves an amazing impact on just about anyone who watches the show
Why are they dogging armin for hesitating anyone in this situation would hesitate, plus this is the first time he’s ever been in command of course he’s going to hesitate every decision he makes could mean someones death, they didn’t dog mikasa when she hesitate to kill Reiner and bertholdt in seasons 2 episode 6
3x16 is arguably one of the best anime episodes ever, for sure my favorite so far in Attack on Titan
3x16, 3x17, 3x18 are all 10/10's without even trying.

Hero being 2 and Perfect Game being 3, Hero was 1 with a perfect 10/10 for a long time after it first aired as well.

Bertolt finally coming into his own was amazing for his character. To see him going from being meek to taking charge was nice. Also, "Perfect Game" hits different. It completely destroyed me. And Erwin's side. And the scouts. The Beast Titan decimated everybody.

Part of the reason berts transformation explosion is so big is one the heat he produces, and two he purposely goes high into the air so when he lands the shockwave he creates when his titan hits the ground sends the heat further causing more destruction.

I don't think I've ever felt so much stress from an episode of anything before! The Chief just casually shooting down all the houses and people on one side, The Colossal Titan just being impossible to get to and flinching Eren off like an annoying dog and the Armored Titan coming back. As Lupa said "Yep we're all gonna die. But, you know, we tried something" . The situation seemed completely impossible to get out of.
