This scene and Bertholdt inner monologue before and through the scene told the story from his side in just one minute, truly amazing.

Yeah people looked back at season 1 when he shifted behind eren during episode 4 and thought that was a plothole and that he should've nuked everyone back then but in reality he can choose to explode or not.

Bertolt finally coming into his own was amazing for his character. To see him going from being meek to taking charge was nice. Also, "Perfect Game" hits different. It completely destroyed me. And Erwin's side. And the scouts. The Beast Titan decimated everybody.

Hero being 2 and Perfect Game being 3, Hero was 1 with a perfect 10/10 for a long time after it first aired as well. I’m so glad that I’m alive and here for AOT since it’s one of the best things I’ve EVER watched.

The Chief just casually shooting down all the houses and people on one side, The Colossal Titan just being impossible to get to and flinching Eren off like an annoying dog and the Armored Titan coming back. As Lupa said "Yep we're all gonna die. But, you know, we tried something" . The situation seemed completely impossible to get out of.
Part of the reason berts transformation explosion is so big is one the heat he produces, and two he purposely goes high into the air so when he lands the shockwave he creates when his titan hits the ground sends the heat further causing more destruction.
