This is so beautiful I live in America and in school I always herd about the butterfly migration, but I definitely never thought they would all end up in the same place its amazing
+Megan Reed Isn't It crazy? The only small exception is the all te butterflies on the west of the Rockies go to California, the rest of the continent all head to Mexico!
such a miracle of life!! with all that is going on in the world right now i love how this is showing the beauty of Mexico & how we are all in the world together!! Great video!!
Beautiful. I love nature and the Monarchs. I have always been fascinated with their journey to Mexico. Thank you for sharing this amazing video of a place I can only dream about. Experiences over possessions!!!! xo
So incredible! I was just looking, and remembered back in 2015 responding to your tweet about seeing the migration! I am so pumped you were able to experience, and give us some stunning visuals! Cheers!
Ahhh I would love that!! Were they landing on you. I am in Tepic Mexico right now and am thinking of how in the world I could get down there and see it for myself. Such a great video! -Ash
OMG, That's such an amazing place! In fact I'm Mexican but I haven't been there, it seems like a fairytale! I've just clicked on the subscribe button! Saludos!
Happy birthday to ur gf 😊🎉 Its seen that she has a very nice energy. How beautiful to see all those butterflies that come to Mexico from so far. So nice edition ❤
This is great. You have the best butterfly footage of the videos we've seen. We will be filming the reserve in the next few days. I hope we can get the quality of video you did! Best, Way
You definitely deserve more subscribers!! I'm from Michoacan and i've just discovered your channel by cajafresca in Los Cabos, I'm in love with your videos
"Butterflies don't like loud noises" Made me think for a second if butterflies had ears 😂 this was an amazing video man! Makes me really want to visit!
This is beautiful! Your channel is filled with a ton of brilliant videos. In the beginning of this video, are you using the rode video mic pro mounted on the A7s? The audio quality is really nice for being outside. I thought it was ADR at first, any post-production work on it? Looking forward to checking out your channel in the future.
Hey man! Thank you, and yes. There's a RODE Videomic PRO on top. I feel it's the best travel mic out there for travel. I throw a compressor on the parts when I talk to balance them out a bit more as well. Happy you noticed the little stuff!
Thanks man. Sorry I'm an audio noob, do you throw a single-band compressor on it in premiere? Or multi? Or in an audio program? Thanks for all the answers, I just heard your audio I got excited.
So a Canadian migrated 4,000 Kilometers to see millions of other Canadian migrants :-) Nice ! So if you were hiking at a place that was 1,000 meters higher than Mexico City you were at 10,662 feet of elevation .... I'd have been breathing a lot harder than that ! We were at 12,235 feet in Rocky Mountain National Park 2 years ago and will be trying to get to the top of Pike's Peak this May at 14,110 feet (we'll be driving, not walking) and then heading up to western Canada from there :-)
+Travels with Yoly Hahaha when you put it that way it sounds ridiculous. I've been living in CDMX for about 4 months so I'm getting used to the altitude! Still was a tough hike though :)
This place is full of magic, I went there last year. Have you been in Chiapas state? You have to go to there to San Cristobal Las Casas, Cascadas de Agua Azul and Lagunas de Montebello, those places are so cool!!!
This is gonna sound quite weird and embarrasing but I used to be afraid of butterflies, since I went there when I was a little child and thousands of them "attacked me", jajaja Great video as always
Hi bro, your videos are good , I don't know because you haven't more likes ... Sigue asi , pronto podras ser un gran vlogger, saludos desde tamulipas... I have a idea haha... why you come at my stade? is beautiful
Watching January 26th, 2021 from Canada. It is minus -34 Celsius up here today. Had to cancel my trip south to Mexico this winter due to the pandemic. Waiting for spring and the return of the monarchs. Will plant milk weed in the spring for them.
i gotta say i like the butterflies a lot more than a bunch of crazy guys blowing up planks with hammers. I hope you took a long shower when you got back to your room...LOL! chances are you were covered in butterfly poo and didn't even notice
Did you know its not the same butterfly's that leave Canada that arrive in Mexico.... They are the great- great grandchildren of the Canada one's they lay eggs in Canada and die. those hatch and come down to Iowa lay eggs and die. Down to Mexico to do it again and then again on the way up to Canada....
***** I might add a part of your video in my next Mexican Numismatics showcasing the 1987 100 pesos Mariposa Monarca proof coin from Casa de Moneda. I'll have a link to your video for the viewers to learn more about this amazing butterfly. Depends, it's a lot of editing and I've been lazy lately. ;p Take care from Ensenada Mexico.

love to go there one day, sad they die after mating.
+Silverino I messed up the info a bit, some die here, and the rest go lay their eggs in Texas and die there. Either way, it's a one way trip :(

I loved the video, but unfortunately I can't share with my students because of some of the language and comments made by the woman in the video.
I AM A SPANISH TEACHER AND USE YOUR VIDEOS TO SHOW MY STUDENTS MEXICO. I LIKE THEM VERY MUCH. WHAT I FIND STUPID ARE THE GIRL'S COMMENTS, SHE RUINS THE EDUCATIONAL ASPECT OF YOUR VIDEO. SHE IS NOT EVEN FUNNY
Deforestation is so sad
Music was WAY TOO LOUD and TOTALLY unnecessary!!
