Danny, Danny, Danny! What a plastering job? Fantastic. But the most important thing is that you gave it a go in the first place “first time “ It can only get better with experience trust me! Never be afraid to give it a go because if you do and you’re successful great job, if not give it another couple of goes, nothing is beyond you! A tip for all the new fruit/nut trees is to only let them have 2 or 3 fruit this year as the stress of fruiting is enough to severely knock back new transplants, they need roots for the first couple of years and then you can allow the fruit to develop at it’s own pace, and water for 2 years and even mature trees do much better if watered during dry spells. Lovely to see you whispering because the baby is asleep, make the most of her now because they’re not babies for long in the grand scheme of things! I subscribed before you reached 1k and so far you’ve done very well! Keep up the good work and try to enjoy the journey! All the very best Andy…
What a lovely message, Andy. Thank you 💚 Great tips about the trees, we’ll be sure to have a look and remove fruit/nuts if too many set. We might not get any at all from some this year. Hoping for some good strong roots 🤞🏻
Can confirm, guest room looks amazing! I'm gonna buy a couple of new trees to try that rock column watering technique with, seems like a really good idea!
Well done. Great job that plastering was. By the way, if you had grapes, make sure to get some net bags to cover and protect them from birds, spiders nesting within them and dust site on them.
Lime Plastering is not easy. Nice job. Not something I can do. Friend who is a plasterer lays down the coats in overlapping arcs rather than straight lines. He says there are fewer trowel lines that way. 😀 -Eric.
I assume you have a male and female kiwi. I love the kiwi gold. It is a good idea to grow them for shade. If successful they are powerful growers and are better with a sturdy metal canopy. They also need plenty of space. Happy growing from New Zealand. 😊
This variety is self-fertile/parthenocarpic so we don’t need male and female. The others we were looking at, we would have. But they were the typical green ones, which we do still like (and might add in the future), but we prefer the golden ones. Fingers crossed they settle well and we get good growth in the coming years to make a shady spot 🤞🏻
It looks great, things are coming together! You guys live so close to my best friend. She moved to the mountains at l'ametlla de mar/ El Perelló region. I'm going to visit her finally in three weeks again ❤ the area is amazing there

Wow, great job, the guest room looks very cozy! Nothing like the pressure of a hard deadline to get things done, right? :D
Haha exactly! 😅
Do you too ever rest watching from wales
Haha. Funny because we feel like we don’t do that much in comparison to most!! 🙃
Hi there just come across your channel. Could you tell me how much land you have please. Kind regards Martin Suffolk.
Hi Martin. We have about 12 and a half acres in total. About 8 of it is terraced with bancals.
@@SmithsdaleFarm thank you so much 👍
Great job - thanks for sharing.
Thank you Anne 😁
