My father+ did his National War Service in Northern Ireland and England with the 5th Aerdrome Squadron and my mum+ worked toward the war effort in a munitions plant in Oklahoma City until my father returned States side in 1945, and both parents are listed on the Memorial. I was able to visit the Memorial in the Autumn of 2005 and was able to see both my parents'+ names listed.
