INGREDIENTS FOR RECIPE No.1 ( Chicken liver with BBQ sauce)
1.5 lbs chicken liver (you can add more)
1 small egg
Salt and pepper
3/4 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp onion powder
3/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin powder (optional)
1 tsp calamansi extract or lemon juice
2 tbsp cornstarch
FOR THE SAUCE
2 tbsp unsalted butter or oil
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp pineapple juice
4 tbsp banana ketchup or tomato catsup
1 tbsp calamansi extract or lemon juice
2 tbsp BBQ marinade mix (any brand)
2 tbsp water
Salt and pepper to taste
INGREDIENTS FOR RECIPE No.2 (Chicken gizzards with pineapple)
1 kilo chicken gizzards
1 thumb sized ginger, sliced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
Thai chili pepper (siling labuyo)
1/2 tsp black pepper
3 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp browning sauce (you can use dark soy sauce)
1 can pineapple chunks 227g
1/2 cup water
Pinch of chicken powder or magic sarap (optional)
