INGREDIENTS:
1.5 lbs chicken liver
1 small egg
1 large onion, sliced
1 tbsp unsalted butter or margarine (or oil instead)
Salt and pepper to taste + 1/2 tsp oregano (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste + 3/4 tsp garlic powder + 3/4 tsp onion powder + 3/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin (optional) + 1 tsp calamansi extract or lemon juice + 2 tbsp cornstarch
Cooking oil for frying

You absolutely could do this with beef liver. Any liver really. I’d recommend calves liver over beef liver. It’s more tender and mild.

I love chicken livers but they're hard to get. I just simply fry with onions and mushrooms in butter, with some fresh home made chips, job done 😋

Can you do this with beef liver too?.
I never tried it but I recommend you cook the beef liver this way 👇
Heat some light oil in a pan over medium heat, then pan fry the beef liver season with your favorite seasoning, you can add garlic and onion. Beat the eggs in the meantime.
Once the liver's cooked, remove them and add the eggs.
Tilt the pan every now and then so the runny bits move to the middle. Once the egg is starting to set, add the liver.
Cook for a few extra minutes, then remove, fold, and serve.
