Hello Maria&Hanna, i would like to ask you a question about eurovision voting system, could you please tell me or if you dont know the answer can you please ask your friends,
My question is,
For example televoting points..
Lets say (as highest score) from spain 50,000 people voted for country A
And lets say 1,000 people voted for country A
A gets 12+12 points =24 points at the end?
Or they calculate all sms at the end and divide to / 26
?
Because big populations countries votes more naturally...
One tousand vote should not be equal to fifty tousand votes my opinion...

Yes, we can try to clarify:
The votes are summized from each country then calculated to find the percentage of votes given to each participant. Which then in turn is converted to Eurovision scoring.
So- if a 100 people voted, then they summize all the 100 votes, calculate How many each participant received( e.g. Norway recieve 10 votes= 10%), then convert it into eurovision score.
Which means that each vote in big population countries is «worth» less than for smaller countries.
This is How we’ve come to understand it.
@@esc.norway so france, spain, germany, italy... Big population countries... At the end their 100,000 votes will turn out to 12 points, 10 points, 8 pts.. Ecc... Right???
