Cycling lost canals: the Monklands canal

Cycling the route of the Monklands canal from its end at Calderbank to Drumpellier country park, with a small detour along the Summerlee branch, which served the Summerlee and Gartsherrie Ironworks.
West of Bargeddie the canal was built over by the M8 motorway as far as Glasgow.
