That’s a very good question. Basically to time the ovulation coz then we can time the oocyte retrieval 36 hr after the trigger; if we don’t have that window of opportunity the follicles can ovulate into the peritoneal cavity, then what will we retrieve? Secondly, most protocols require HPO axis suppression by GnRH analogs before starting stimulation, this is done so that body’s production of hormones does not interfere with the doses that we give from outside, in that situation we will have to give hormones from outside to stimulate ovulation. I hope it clarifies your query.
My missed periods date is 9 feb and i went to dr march 9 the dr said its 4 weeks pregnancy or may be the baby growth issue or may be pregnancy happen late please tell me dr
