    1. 0:36 [Parable of the Dishonest Manager] What is the meaning of the Parable of the Dishonest Manager in Luke 16: 1-13? I was having a Bible study with a friend over Discord, and we're wondering about this.
    2. 10:01 [Anxiety about the Rapture] Is it bad to hope that Jesus doesn’t come back until after I have died? Not knowing when the rapture will come (pre or post-trib) causes me anxiety.
    3. 12:46 [Can Christians claim all biblical promises?] How do we respond to someone who says we can "claim" all the promises in the Bible for ourselves because we are "grafted into Israel" or because God is "no respecter of persons"?
    4. 16:35 [Resources to guard against confirmation bias] I am afraid that I am just partaking in confirmation bias for theism, but I find that most atheistic arguments are just strawmen and ad-hominem attacks. Are there any good, thoughtful resources?
    5. 23:42 [Premarital abstinence] I've been a follower of Christ for about 3 months now and my girlfriend of 2 years who I would say is "lukewarm" is hesitant to abstain. How should I handle this?
    6. 26:08 [Golden chain of redemption - Romans 8] Can you give your interpretation of the "golden chain of redemption" in Romans 8: 29-30?
    7. 29:53 [How is God glorified when a soul perishes?] Everything works together for God's glory, but I have a hard time reconciling that with the idea that God creates people that He knows are destined for Hell. Any thoughts?
    8. 36:17 [Do different biblical interpretations make Scripture contradictory?] Given the multiple schools of thought on concepts like eschatology and Calvinism, and each school has Scripture to back up their contradicting views, does that make Scripture contradictory?
    9. 41:28 [Advice for an atheist teen] Please give advice on what say to my 16 yr. old who has told me he is an atheist. He can barely defend his position. He has basically fallen victim to internet atheism, and he no longer wants to go to church.
    10. 43:50 [Have I truly forgiven if I don’t feel it?] How do you know when you truly have forgiven someone in your heart? I can say the words but I’m unsure if my heart has changed.
    11. 46:33 [Is Satan omniscient?] The Bible indicates that the mystery of God's plan for salvation was kept hidden for ages until after the resurrection. Could that mean Satan is omniscient, i.e. when Jesus had to rebuke Peter?
    12. 50:30 [Matt. 10 & Mark 13 written similarly] Why does Matthew 10: 16-24 have Olivet Discourse wording (same wording as Mark 13:9-13)? It does not seem to fit here/make sense & this is NOT found in the parallel verses (Luke 9:1-6, Mark 6:7-13).
    13. 52:56 [Is meditation style prayer o.k.?] I enjoy mindful meditation for mental health reasons and want to involve God in this, but I've heard this type of prayer is wrong. Why couldn’t I memorize a Psalm and repeat it in prayerful thought?
    14. 55:21 [Intro to apologetics resources] What are some good sources to look at to start studying apologetics?
    15. 57:50 [Can we allow extrabiblical sources to inspire us?] Is it sinful to be inspired by historical people in and outside of the Bible? Should I instead be exclusively inspired by the Holy Spirit who enabled believers or by the Father?
    16. 1:00:21 [Caring for a grieving loved one] A loved one of mine (a believer) is going through a season of mental anguish. What are some practical ways that I can help and encourage them?
    17. 1:02:37 [Disciples’ memory - Miracles in Mark 6 vs. Mark 8] How is it that when Jesus feeds the 4,000 in Mark 8, the disciples don’t seem to remember Him already doing the same thing in Mark 6 (the 5,000)?
    18. 1:04:03 [Jesus’ death, burial, & resurrection] If Jesus was beaten unrecognizably, how can we be sure they checked the right tomb?
    19. 1:08:41 [How could Adam & Eve know right from wrong?] If eating from the tree of knowledge is what gave Adam and Eve the knowledge of good vs. evil, how could they have been expected to know that disobeying God was evil before they ate the fruit?
    20. 1:10:21 [Can Christians listen to secular music?] I was wondering if you had anything to say about secular music? Is it ok to listen to? What draws the line of something a Christian shouldn't listen to/ watch?
Helping you learn to think biblically about everything, because the Bible is more brilliant, beautiful and life-changing than most of us have realized.

I agree, Mike is a good teacher. Hes methodical when he travels through scripture and seems to go precept upon precept, which makes learning and studying so much easier. One thing I really like about Mike is, his ability to be critical of others views in a compassionate way. Thats hard to pull off. I oftentimes come off as irritable or argumentative, when thats not the case at all. Its really difficult when trying to settle on certain bible doctrines.

God expects us to do works though...or should I quit my job and just pray for my food? Doing that would work about as well as just praying for protection. Prayer is most important, but Adam punishment was that all men had to work. Also, the book of James says faith without works is dead. Near that verse he says we are perfected by our works. I had to end a 2 yr relationship with the person who I thought I'd eventually marry, because he felt he NEEDED sex to get by. Never let another person compromise your walk with Jesus. My friends, you might lose a lot. But God has so much more for you to gain in Him.

Thank you for your time here.
In my humble opinion, one of the best questions was the one about secular music because it applies to (nearly) everyone.
There are a couple mistakes that I feel Christians too often make without realizing what they're doing (I've been there, no judgement, just observation). I feel like the problem is created when those issues cause Christians to push people away from Jesus rather than bring them to him and one of those mistakes is with music, IMHO. For example, I don't need to listen to ACDC, but if I'm at a BBQ, and the host puts on ACDC, then listening to say, "Highway to Hell" at the BBQ isn't going to send me straight to hell. I also don't have to overreact and tell the host he is playing Satanic music right then. Timing. Its all about timing and SHOWING them how a Christian behaves and what we are about...not TELLING them what to do. That's my take anyway.
Another mistake I feel that some Christians make is rejecting all kinds of information out of fear. Knowledge isn't going to hurt us or send us to hell either. Knowledge is power and lack of knowledge has allowed Satan to push his agenda to where we are today quite easily since so many Christians are afraid that even reading about things that are REALLY actually happening will hurt them. Remember, Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge?
I think we need to know what is going on in the world now. And we need to know what went on in the world historically. If things don't make sense we need to ask questions and demand answers. Most of all, we can't be afraid of the truth just because the truth may be "weird" to us. No, I'm not talking about us studying Crowley magick. But I am saying we should know it exists and be able to recognize it, for example. Big difference. I talk to people every day who haven't even heard of the great reset. No wonder we will again be "as in the days of Noah". Will it be more Nephilim or more people marrying when the flood takes them away out of nowhere? Maybe both?
We once lived in a house for the summer that had an evil entity in it (for lack of a better description). I even have pictures of it! Ugh. Anyway, it was quite strong. It would open doors and show itself to the kids. You could "feel" its awful, negative presence. One night it came toward me. I was in a sleep paralysis state but awake, if that makes sense. Even though I couldn't move, I yelled "Jesus help me," and that thing went back up the stairs so fast! It was like a vaccum cleaner sucked it up!
The name of Jesus has the most power of anyone or anything in the universe!! So why be afraid of information when we have Jesus on our side? Idk why. 🤷‍♀️
Thanks for your ministry. I truly love your style.

U caused me to rethink my understanding of the parable of the manager. My interpretation has always been-
The manager had been wrongly recording what people owe trying to make more money for his master.
The master found out the manager was incorrectly charging people but since the manager was in charge of the debts the master could not adjust the amounts to the correct amounts nor did he know what was owed so he told the manager he would be fired.
Feeling sorry after he was caught and worried about his future he went to all the debtors and gave them discounts that took their debts down close to what they actually owed.
His master commended him for his shrewdness I interpret him as saying “I appreciate you trying to make me money but you did it the wrong way”

8 minutes in you mentioned caring for our believers. Now in my 80s, I have often thought, without malice, how careless our church family was after my father's sudden death in a traffic accident at the age of 46. He had taught the high school boys Sunday school class for 15 years (no one else was willing but he loved the boys and they him). I was pianist (16 years old) for Sunday school, the choir, morning worship and, on a rotating basis, Sunday evenings and Wednesday Bible study. With my father's death, my mother, brother and I were very poor ~ in a church of wealthy families. Many were business owners, executives, etc. living in lavish homes, driving new cars, wearing expensive clothes, taking fabulous vacations. If those families had each donated only $5/month for our family's needs .... They didn't. And I wonder why. Maybe so that *I* would care about others' needs.

Number 5 hit me particularly hard. I was in a relationship with an amazing girl for about 6 1/2 years. It wasn't until Jesus found me again that I decided to truly follow Him and abstain from my premarital relations with her. Although initially proclaiming to be Christian at the start of the relationship, she rejected me and said she couldn't "date a Jesus freak", let alone marry one, and we went our separate ways. Your relationship with God is the most important relationship in your life. After 2 years of singleness, I realized that Jesus really is all I need and He is faithful to restore your heart. Those that find themselves in similar situations, don't lose hope. The creator of the universe is on your side.

I have gone before the Lord often asking Him for His Truth on many controversial subjects in the body of Christ earnestly asking Him to help me put aside my bias and previous teaching so I can hear Him and understand His Word according to His meaning as I study and read His Word. He has shown me so... much and I have had to humble myself often to accept simply WHAT HE SAYS backing it in Hebrew and Greek when I need further comprehension.

Mike, I would like to discuss the parable of the dishonest manager further. With all the humility in my heart i just want to say, I believe this is not about the wealth or dishonesty of the manager but the guilt of the owner and the leverage it gives those that are embedded in the sins of their authority and realizing the convictions of the Holy Spirit. To use any means necessary to achieve salvation, even to make use of the sin of another to not be a son of this world. For with him nothing is wasted and he brings the greatest goods from the greatest travesties. The manager was being unethical with his business practices to begin with, the manager was involved in doing his bidding and the customers were also living lives of sin as sons of this world. The Owner could not do anything to the manager because he was trapped by his own dishonest practices. Everything Jesus says, points to salvation. Love You Brother!

My sleep schedule has been so weird. And today or this morning I as trying to wake up and was listening to your flat earth discussion. I fell asleep and dreamt that I was at your house. Which was in a forest. It was dark and rainy and there were trees...very quiet. But you could hear water dropping on leaves and the sound of us walking on muddy areas. I was visiting you like a family friend would...I saw your house which I have no idea what it looks like...but it was like a cabin style house with I think dark green or blueish grey paint on the outside. A small house...with stained wood...I followed you up the stairs and they were wooden stairs...it reminded me of somewhere in Portland or Seattle....maybe even Oregon. Anyway it seemed as if your house was standing alone and I wondered if you were isolated but there were many other houses around it was like a grouping of several houses together in a small clustered neighborhood off the beaten path. The strange part about the dream was that you went out on a walk or a hike, and did not return. You had two small blonde daughters there playing in front of a fireplace and some close male friends who were concerned about why you had not returned yet. And I was thinking he will return he just went to go pray or for a walk. And I was asking them why you left to begin with. When you left you had just quietly disappeared but to them it had been a long time...even though I was just talking to you a minute before...but according to the people in your house they were extremely concerned...the girls seemed happy they didn’t realize anything was wrong yet...one I think was in a white pajama dress from what looked like the 1800’s Anyway I don’t remember the rest of the dream but they were waiting for you to come back to the house as it was getting darker and colder. They were worried about your safety...apparently the house was surrounded by dense forest as well as mountainous trails and craggies that could be dangerous. But I kept thinking you knew the area and there was no real danger and even if you went on a hike you would be back and safely return...the only thing odd about it was that you didn’t tell anyone where you going.

But he does meditate and explore certain dimensions of contemplating, exactly what Jesus taught, to go Inward, the kingdom of heaven is within. It's not outside of us. It is inside of is. I read an interesting article about the vessels in the Temple. Some are for holy use and some for unsavory use. A pastor had been in the Middle East and stopped into a potter's shop. He watched as the man was shaping a vase. The clay was stiff. The potter added water, but the clay was too stiff to be formed into a beautiful vase, so the potter pushed it back into a ball and started over, making it into a steppingstone.
The point was, it wasn't that the potter decided in advance that the lump of clay should be left outside and walked on. He made it that way because the clay was too still to be molded.

My question is what is your insight on praying in tongues? Is it a special gift, blessing for only certain people or occasions or it's a gift for every believer?
My church introduced me to praying in tongues before I knew much of the Scriptures and I started praying. So if it's not for everyone, then what is it we are all saying? Where is it coming from? Because I don't feel like I am just saying jibberish, its something else. But I hesitate to do it now after hearing that it's a special selective gift.

I think what the manager parabol is saying is to be faithful with unrighteous wealth - meaning, at your job or earthly profession. To be upstanding to those around you so that they can receive the kingdom of heaven. "If youre dishonest with little things, you will be dishonest with big things." "Who can trust you with true wealth if you cant be trusted with fake wealth." I think hes talking about integrity and how people of this world can be more "shrewd" in conserving themselves and that we should also keep in mind on how to win peoples favor for the gospel in our work ethic. Not for money but for God.

I've met Hindus, Taoists, Buddhist, Catholics, Christians, Mormans, and so on that have been more Christian than most Christians I know. Jesus said: "I in you, and You in Me, for we can all be son's and daughter's of Christ. Jesus' also said: "For you will do even greater works than I". Jesus' also said: "The Kingdom of Heaven is WithIN not WithOUT. You have to go IN. Like a Yogi. Meditation which is mentioned in the Bible. Back to the First Two commandments! And the second is the same as the First! (I've lost everything to learn this Truth. My home will be gone next. Mike is a great eye 👀 opener for all of us!!) I love you Mike!! (You said Unity! Yoga means Union! I love you Mike! We are going to bring Heaven to this world together! Unity! They just call God by a different name. We all know Buddhist monks are celibate. I'm way ng it's all connected! We are going to make Union in Christ! They are all arm's and legs of Christ! (unfortunately there are fanatics that think their way is the only way and all others must die.... This is not good and this is not the highest teaching of every religion. Again the first two commandments are of utmost importance. Unfortunately some Muslims that are fanatics misunderstood what Allah meant when he said: "All infidels must die." What it meant was that we need to die to our egos to find God 🙏. To take up our cross and follow Jesus. If you have millions why aren't you taking care of the poor? And don't donate to a charity,..(it's been proven that some are corrupt), do it yourself in secret and the father will reward you) it's easier for a camel to crawl to the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to get to heaven.

Regarding predestination and Calvinism, I believe we are less divided on these particular subjects than most people do. I believe it is less an argument of weather or not God pre chose and predestined and more an argument against the timelessness and sovereignty of God. We look at all things that happen in a time line or all things happening in relation to other things that happen, this is a result of the law in our universe that says things happen in order and according to time. When you are not subject to time, you see the beginning end and middle and they would have less relevance when and where they happened than they would to someone that is subject to the laws of our universe. So i like to think of it like God Created all things in his mind first, but simultaneously saw the complete nature of the resolution of his plan. When he created things in the beginning to us, it was all the same beginning middle and end to him. Just a thought.

Can you explain the idea of “rewards in heaven”? If a person is saved by the “skin of their teeth”, at the end of their life, and another has served Christ all of his life, and they are both born again, saved by grace, through atonement by the cross, what is the gradation used in heaven? In heaven we don’t experience jealousy or envy, we are all children of a loving God, so how do we understand this recognition system?

There is an esoteric group of Christians towards which the entire bible points. It is from this group that Jesus Christ expects fruit to be obtained. This is likely the same esoteric group that Mike Winger refers to as "predestined".
      .
The parable of the marriage feast indicates that this esoteric group treats their privileged position with indifference and even insolent objection.
      .
For this reason the things reserved for them, "reward in heaven", are given to ANYONE. Even to wicked men. This is why there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
      .
      Matthew 22:10
      Accordingly those slaves went out to the roads and gathered together all they found, both WICKED AND GOOD;
      .
So at the very end the inheritance reserved in the heavens for this esoteric group of Christians are instead extended to ANYONE:
      .
      Revelation 22:17
And the spirit and the bride keep on saying: “Come!” And let ** ANYONE ** hearing say: “Come!” And let ** ANYONE ** thirsting come; let ** ANYONE ** that wishes take life’s water free.
      .
      ANYONE!
      .
So at the very end "predestination" means absolutely nothing!
      .

@@isaiah30v8 Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question, I really appreciate it. I do understand your points as you present them and they lead me to more Bible study as I want to stay vigilant lest I fall prey of any false doctrine. The idea of “rewards in heaven” in the sense that I have heard of it is almost a
variant of the “prosperity doctrine”, the “celestial version” in that my works are “better than yours”, and, therefore, my mansion in heaven will be better than yours. Perhaps this is an attempt to produce guilt as opposed to conviction of the Holy Spirit, which, of course, comes from the Holy Spirit itself, if we do not silence it through disobedience. One thing that your citation of the book of Matthew brought to mind is, when the last verse referred to the guest who was rejected because he was “dressed inappropriately”, I was immediately reminded of Galatians 3:27, where it says that after my baptism, I am clothed in Christ. So I am figuratively dressed in white to represent my status as redeemed by the blood of Christ, and therefore, I am welcome at the marriage banquet of the Lord.
The doctrine of predestination continues as something of a conundrum but that is because I worry about dear ones who do know the plan of salvation but have chosen to reject it. I wonder what it means when Jesus says that his sheep know his voice and that no one can take those his Father gave him. I read the parable of the sower (Matthew 13-1-23) and I pray. I know God does not wish for anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9). And my greatest hope is that when every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11) that this ultimately includes all those that I care about.

There is where [their] weeping and the gnashing of [their] teeth will be. 43 At that time the righteous ones will shine as brightly as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Let him that has ears listen.
      .
Jesus Christ never said anything good about his kingdom.

    Question 1:
Precisely Pastor especially now during this Pandemic Christian families lost their jobs, poor and can’t provide.
    In Acts 2:43-45 we read:
43And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

Q: This is a serious question that numerous pastors have dodged for many years. What is your take on dinosaurs when it comes to creation? Does the existence (past) of dinosaurs negate the biblical view of creation? Thanks for your time

Time, times. Find a bungee and stretch it, we have stretched version, we have short version. But is there any pleasure in a stretched survival, over thrive existence? Maybe man's path of 6,000 years is the most interesting and comfortable.

For the best science-based hypothesis for creation and the flood that I am aware of, check out Walt Brown's In The Beginning: Compelling Evidence For Creation and the Flood. There is a 2.5 hour summary of the theory given by Bryan Nickol on his UA-cam channel which visualises everything fro the pre-flood world to the all the significant observable geologic formations today.
Research "OOPArts" or "Out of Place Artefacts" for further countless artefacts and evidences that don't make the high school science manuals. There are countless accounts of humans interacting with and slaying "dragons" - dismissed with the rhetoric of "myth and legend" - take a look at the skull of Dracorex Hogwartsia for the clearest indication of what these "dragons" really are.

I want to suggest doing an interview with people leading in Torah observant communities, like Lex from Unlearn the Lies, for instance. There is a difference between this and some of the hebrew roots sects.

I've found messianic movements are more accepted as a whole. Probably because it's not much of a change in culture. I'd love to see more about that, because I don't feel Mike represented at least what I see and deal with well.

Hello Mike. Some of my friends say that when Jesus died and before He arose from the dead, that He went in spirit and preached to the dead so that they can have the Gospel brought to them for salvation. Any scripture that supports that? 1 Peter 4:6 seems to suggest that.. Thank you. Love what you do and may Gob Bless you.
