i got water stain and pen ink on my desk mat how should I clean it ? I don't think putting it in the washing machine only can do anything about it
My whole mousepat is all white will the doshsoap trun it yellowish (bc the dishsoap is yellow)

tyvm! i have a large rubber backed pad for my desk and have spilled far too much coffee and soda on it.. i did not realized i can just put it in the washer. never occured to me to use cold water XD. oh well glad my arms are not sticking to it anymore.

Yes they should! The microfiber cloth is your best bet!

I've had mine for a few months now and decided that it needs a wash. Was thinking that putting it in the washer would be fine, but I wanted to make sure. Good to know that I need to put it in on cold. Though does it need any sort of soap or is just the water good enough?
You can use detergent although is will make a big difference but water will do fine.
Thanks I got mine from an Etsy shop same desk Matt material but I didn’t know if it could go in the washer and was scared of destroying it lol. It has some stains from one time spilling a drink and a couple others from somehow coffee being on the bottom of my mug and me not putting down a coaster 😓

I got a new desk mat, but I received it with a brown stain on it, and rubbing it with a wet cloth with some soap doesn't seem to get rid of it. What should I do?
at that point i would throw it in the washer on cold and see if that can take the stain out. or even try a tide pen or something similar
should i use detergent in washing method, like a spill of detergent, my has some stains and that why it is dirty. Also mine is cloth from the mousepad company so I don't want to damage it!
I wouldn't use detergent at all man. Just cold water. detergent can damage the surface feel and the coloring

@@humbertosalinas6395 I have a front loader LG washer and did a gentle cycle on cold for 30 minutes with no detergent and it came out perfectly clean and looks great now. Currently air drying in my spare bathrooms bathtub
Thank you I have one of those mouse pad desk(The entire surface of my desk is a removable mouse pad) and I was trying to figure out the best way to clean this thing I need to stop eating at my computer because little crumbs get on my keyboard and I hate it But I'm the one to blame. But I also have cats and their fur gets everywhere. I love my babies but the one thing I cannot stand about living with other animals is the fur on everything. 😩 I'm kind of upset with myself without even thinking about using the lint roller it didn't even cross my mind I use it for like all my clothes I didn't even think to use it on my mouse pad

1) wipe with soapy water. dry by hanging up.
or
2) put in washing machine on cold. dry by hanging up.
Warning: Don't put electronics in washing machine.

I wanted to provide a bit more value than just a blank screen and text. But I totally see what you're saying. The video has one merch plug and its a way that we creators can make money so we can keep making content. Its super easy to just skip through it if it doesn't interest you.
This is all advertising until 3:30 and then he tells you to put it in the clothes washing machine on cold. Hope I just saved someone 5 1/2 minutes

Just use linoleum desk mats and be happy for many, many years! 100% nature! And you can clean then easily!
Watched this video because I spilled matcha on my cream and light blue mat LMAO. For spot cleaning, I just used white vinegar and it worked like a charm!

this is exactly why i do not buy desk mats with RGB. they DO get dirty over time. sometimes its just the oils from your skin soaking into it and discoloring it. you WANT TO BE ABLE TO WASH IT IN A BATH OR WASHING MACHINE.
