I played on one of these at this years Superbooth. I consider this as a real alternative to the Behringer MS5, which also gets its character from the combo of a multimode VCF with an additional bandpass and two VCOs. Here you even have three filters to play with. The Behringer has more flexibility in its mixer. But the SER 2020 has filter mod on each filter. Both sound great.
I was at the stand right in front of AnalogFX with Schlappi Engineering last year so we crossed path ;-) I would go for this one over the B as I would prefer the money to go to à small passionate business rather that a giant corp.
Pour la partie poly c’est possible, mais les sons acid « vocaux » viennent probablement du Fenix de Synton, qui on aussi fait le Syrinx dont le ser-2020 est inspiré.

Vince Clarke uses a Syrinx also on his Techno and on Erasure productions, some very metallic tones can be achieved!

Too bad ,I know he made a eurorack version at first which was for sale on Reverb. Don't understand why that was changed... otherwise I would buy it...
