Cab Noise?

- Thanks for stoping by. Today I'm installing a rubber seal strip around the doors and the center line between the doors. I'm trying to lower the cab noise as it gets loud with all my gar and tires. It's difficult to really tell if it did anything. I kind of feel like it did. Maybe a little. Up next is the doors. Maybe when that is done it will be more noticeable. All links below, as always thanks for watching.

Ive seen many of the prerunner (not the tacoma model) guys do the sound dampening on the rood, floor, and rear panel under the rear glass but none have done this. this is such an over looked item. great idea!
Thank you
It did sound a little quieter!

Awesome idea!!! Wondering if it helps keep water out ????

Thanks for watching.
a dB meter app test would have been easy for comparison with very specific detail
Yup, thanks for watching.
I enjoy your content brother! Weird question-what are you using to hang that bag on driver's side headrest? SF!
Thanks, appreciate it. You're good no worries. I am using Grimlock D rings like these-- amzn.to/44edBJ9
Great stuff as always! It seems to help with highway wind noise but not road noise. I do like that you doubled up the B pillar and covered the front door hinges. I did not do either of those areas the first go around so I had to order a few more feet to add that. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you, appreciate it.
I added that sound proofing material under the entire carpet, rear seats and head liner. 50% quieter. This is massively time consuming, but the only thing that’s really effective.
Appreciate the info. I'll be going down that path soon.
Where did you get the roll of seal?
There are links in the description of the video. Thanks for watching.
wonder if this DIY would help with water getting into the cab...have you sound deaden matted under the carpet yet?
Nope, not the carpet. I did the ceiling thou.
How well do you think it will work for water resistance when crossing water over the door jamb?
I think it will work well with the spot I installed it in. It fills the open gap tightly. Thanks for watching.
